This is the result of playing Scorchy Slots for 30 mins: You have -14 NP. :P

Haha. Anyway, I was just wondering, for those of you who regularly play Scorchy Slots, what's the max. that you spend playing? Or do you keep playing until you get something good, like a treasure map?

Also, how is it that when the volcano gives me, say 1 np, I have to play another round to collect that *1* np?!

I know, that's how you get addicted.
I take out an certain amount, since I know that I might not be able to control myself. And the amount depends on how I feel, and how much income or profit I made that day. :)

If you donate to the money tree before you go and start playing there's quite a good chance of getting a faerie quest. This offsets the money lost. Though I never did get the rainbow faerie quest that I've been hoping for.

I usually waste about 1,000 NP on that dang game. I've never won anything. No profit. No prizes. *sigh* I think they need to upgrade it just a bit, maybe with better prizes? *Wishful thinking*.

My brother did a long-term experiment back when he played Neopets. He found that in the long run, you earn a profit from Scorchy Slots. His advice to me was as follows:

- Take out 100 000 NP for the day. This is your 'base' amount. Using this you can calculate if you make a profit or a loss. (I always took out 10 000 NP.)

- When playing Scorchy Slots, you usually have more than your base amount.

- Start playing. Refresh. Collect money. Do not hold cherries and other small fruit because winnings are low and not worth it. (I always ignored that.) Do not hold if there every slot is different.

- Luck comes in bouts. You may have a running of good luck or a running of bad luck. The bad luck usually turns into a running of good luck if you play long enough.

- Do not play less than your base amount. (I think that's what he said. I don't really remember.)

Personally, if I was getting a string of bad luck or I didn't know when to stop, I'd say to myself, if I get no 'holds', or volcano eruptions in the next three gos, I'll stop. Also, if I was losing money I wouldn't lose more than 2000 NP. However, it's been a long time and I don't remember.
