It's actually a very easy game. Just don't move and shoot the "big bad boss ship" all the time. Eventually, though you will die but not without scoring some big neopoints :)

I can't believe it! A game I'm good at!

On my second play I figured out a really good strategy, the only problem is my score on my third play, 7540, is nearly twice the other scores on the high score table and is being reviwed.

Edit: Pah, more people figured it out in the space of 10 minutes and managed to survive way longer than me. If I had the determination, I could probably get another high score, but I don't.

2nd Edit: Guide
It's actually very easy to get 1000np x3 a day off this game. What I did was stay on the back of the battlecruiser and of course fire like mad. Use the strafe keys to move up and down. Alternate firing from the middle-top and the middle-bottom, keeping the battlecruiser from turning all the way around and facing you. If you're on the right and the top right quarter of the screen, the battlecruiser will turn clockwise to face you, but if you go to the bottom half of the screen before it reaches the 12:00 position, it will start turning the other direction (opposite if on other side/half of the screen). Using this strategy you can avoid half of its attacks. Also, if you stay as close as you can to the side of the screen, you can rather easily avoid the homing missiles.
I hope I made sense, with a bit of practice this should be an easy game.

3rd Edit:
They cut the speed you strafe at and increased the speed the battlecruiser can rotate at, but if you stay more to the middle it's still possible to get a 1000np game fairly easily.

There is an imaginary horizontal line cutting through the middle of the screen and if you go one way it turns the ship one direction but if you cut back across it using z and c to strafe you can basically control sloth's ship.

How do you avoid the homing missles without going in front of Sloth's ship and getting hit?

your best bet would be the rebounding ammo :D

I saw an odd glitch...

Sometimes, the ship won't turn right when you are going forward at the same time. It sounds minor, but I've lost several lives to that glitch and rockets.


Please do not swallow the mattresses.

HOLD THE SPACEBAR TO SHOOT, NOT PRESS IT

the best powerups IMO are the double bullets and shield

the rest sucks, esp. the teleport one
