Is there any correlation between what your pet says before you click on "Approach the Shrine" and the outcome of your visit to the shrine?

I expect someone has already checked this out and that it is probably random. If so, I'm sorry for wasting a topic. Otherwise, please could people post the message their pet says before visiting the shrine and the outcome of their visit.

(I do know about the certain times for different outcomes, but I've never really got that working for me.)

e.g. (although my pet has already visited the shrine)

"PetName says 'They took long enough to make this shrine, it better be good!'"

...

"Nothing Happens"

If there were a connection it would be good to know before you click on the "Approach the Shrine" button that your visit will be pointless.

I'm just suggesting this as a possibility as I know some of the 'random' things on Neopets aren't actually completely random.

Ok, thanks. Was just wondering if certain messages could mean you definitely won't get anything. but I expect you're right and there's no correlation. I know it was a long shot!

BTW, I didn't mean your pet saying it doesn't want to go could mean you won't get anything or than a message mentioning strength could mean increase strength etc. I don't think I explained myself very well - sorry.

e.g.

'After this we should go and get a smoothie!'
'I wonder if the shrine gives better prizes at certain times of day?'
'I could do with some help, Coltzan!'
'And to think, Malkus Vile would have got away with it if it wasnt for us pesky Neopets!'
'Afterwards, do you fancy a game of Deckswabber?'
'Im glad they brought the crown back!'
'I hope this doesnt hurt!!!'
'Was Coltzan a good king??'
'I'm hungry'
'This sounds like fun...'
'Do you think he will make me stronger?'
'Poor old Coltzan...'
'Aren't there dubloons buried in the sand around here?'
'Come on Coltzan, make me stronger!'
'I better get some rare items out of this!!!'
'They took long enough to make this shrine, it better be good!'
'I hear the shrine can give out one million Neopoints!!!'
'I'm sure more intelligent Neopets would understand this shrine better than me!'

Thanks anyway!

I have noticed that if you have a strong pet and you go with a weak pet, it's way more likely to get a stat increase. and i rarely get a stat increase with my strong pet

Yep, weaker pets like my Jetsam or Koi, will almost always something

On the other hand, StripedShiningStar can go weeks without anything

Pets whose levels are 10 and below are WAY more likely to get anything good from 'ole Coltzan. Why? Don't know... Anyways, there is no relation between whatever your pet says and any reward you may receive. My Grarrl said "Aren't there dubloons buried in the sand around here", and ended up with some burnt food. :P

I don't see there's any relations. If it happens, it happens. If not, try again tomorrow.

Not true in my experience. My Bori and Kougra are waaay higher than my koi, but they both get stat increasea all the tie and my Koi has never gotten anything.

I (sigh) ran this test for a few months gosh...a year and a half ago or so. Took data from myself and a few friends during that time, so I got a lot of data. (I ran a lot of statistical analyses on stupid things like that then, like what Neopets say before labbing.) No correlation.

Thanks for clearing that up Plagatus. Glad I'm not the only one who has random throughts like that though. ;)
