NT submission question

Tue Aug 02, 2005 7:08 am

How many days does it usually take to hear back from them?

Three, four, maybe even five days. A week at the latest. Sometimes I get replies from them within one or two days, though. I also find that sending your entries in over the weekends or right after an issue has home out is always the best time.

Good luck! ;)

If you send a submission do they tell you when they will publish it? (If they will publish it) As in what issue?

I've submitted one question numerous times and have never gotten an answer.

No, they dont' tell you what issue.

It varies actually. Sometimes you'll get the following:

Thank you for submitting to the Neopian Times. Currently your submission (Mootix Drop Made Easy) is being held over and may be considered for future publication in the Neopian Times. There is no need to submit your submission again, as it is saved by the editor.

Eventually when they do (if they do) publish your article, you'll get another neomail:

Congratulations! Your entry (Mootix Drop Made Easy) has been selected to appear in a future issue of the Neopian Times. A shiny trophy has been added to your user lookup. Thank you for contributing to the Neopian Times!

I got this and assumed (correctly) that the article was to be published in the next issue (201).
