Pardon my ignorance, I didn't find anything when I searched for "scratchcard kiosk breakfast" so...

I don't often visit the Scratchcard Wocky. Today I brought some old scratchcards to the kiosk and instead of the usual screen it there was a note, "Just popped out for some breakfast... Back soon!" It's around 9:20 AM NST. Is there some special meaning to the message? Does it happen daily, and I've always missed it in past?
