Does anyone know when and where Derek Chomby died?
I have about 10 minutes left on the quest...

You have to do the esophagor (sp?) quest and he'll give you the answer.

I tried, he is wanting an item that is not on wiz, I checked the trades and 120k np is the lowest they are selling for.

Then you're out of luck if you can't get the item. The answers are unique so what worked for one person won't work for another.

Then you failed the quest, happens to everyone moe often than not.

There's no other way to do it. It's random, there are no set dates and locations for set pet names, the answer is generated when you complete the esophagor quest. You cannot guess it, even if you know the date and try the limited list of locations with it. There will not exist a right answer until you get it from the espohagor.
