*Today is randomly dedicated to the Ona! Why not? They're cute, cuddly, and they don't bite... much.

*There are some new Ona Fun Images for you to use.

*There are some new Poems for you to look at.

*Petpets will love these new Ona-themed supplies from the Petpet Supply Shop.

*There is a new Background that has been created in honour of the Ona.

*There is a new Mystery Pic competition. The answer to the last one was Grimoire of Thade. 195 people guessed correctly, earning them 10,257 NP each.

*There are some new pictures in the Art Gallery!

*... and the award for best Neohome goes to sarahrivka, owner of 389256 Main Street, Neopia Central!

*Not to be left out, the Toy Shop has just released some rather fun new toys with an Ona theme.

*The Ona is very lucky today. Onas can now be painted Dung, Plushie, Rainbow, and Robot at the Petpet Puddle.

Awww I love onas! They look so 80's to me. I dunno they just remind me of the kind of toys and cartoons that were popular when I was a kid. ^__^ I think I'm gonna have to get one eventually. I really like the plushie one.

I thought that was a fun image when I first scrolled down to it. Doesn't look much like a toy to me. o-o

ok, so, probably none of the little kids on the site are going to think anything of this, but did any of you adults out there notice this:

perhaps it was only in my mind but it looks kind of crude to me... not that they intended that, but where was the approval committee "yeah um, animator dude, can you like, make his legs move instead of his hips because you know um, that looks funky."

Well, true to its name, the Dung Ona looks.. bleh. Kind of bland really. But he-e-ey, they released a toy with an animated picture, haha how cute.

I think Sparrow was trying to say something without saying it so as to not place something out there on the boards where kids can read it and be like "what's that?" It's not appropriate to use such terminology. That being said, I didn't think that when I saw it.

Anyways, the Ona does remind me of something from the 80's. I think of Rainbow Brite every time I see one!

Rainbow Brite is stuck in memoryland with the rest of my 80s childhood. the Onas actually remind me of Care Bears with wings.

I didn't notice anything "crude" about the animation until it was pointed out. Weird, I usually notice those things lol. I did check the news pretty late last night...
