I was on the underwater fishing page; I hit the "reel in your line" button and the faerie aisha with the "log in" arrow pops up ("this page cannot be displayed becasue you are not logged in... blah blah blah... create account/log-in now...)

My hear skipped a beat- I know I didn't log out! Anyway, I logged in again, nothing was missing or changed. So what happened? Could I have been CG'ed without my knowledge? Did a cookie expire on me?

note: I've now changed my password and PIN to be on the safe side.

Don't worry, the same glitch just happened to me while I was at the Igloo Sale.

I just refreshed and the right page was back.

Sometimes these type of glitches happen.

Grrr!!! Neopets is getting very laggy - pages wont refresh.

It's nice to know PPT is here to confirm these kinds of issues. Well, I guess I'll try to do something fruitful with my "lame" New Years and continue to re-organize my room.

I can't even get into the site right now. Not even the white page of DOOM is showing up for me.

Just thought Id pop here and see if anyone else was having probs with the site, my pages are at a standstill, they're not loading when I refresh...I was playing Brucey B slots and it kept coming up with
error...could not connect to lost desert slots, or something or other

Obviously, this glitch is still happening. Because I don't think my account was frozen in the two hours that I was watching the Bears game.

EDIT: Good news. They finally found my account. What's weird is that i was always able to access my side account, just not my main account. Oh well, let's hope it is fixed.

Neo is almost at at a standstill - pages are taking minutes to load (if they do).

The lagginess seems to be coming in waves - 1 minute it is fine, the next the pages wont load.

I am back in Neo and pages are loading again.

Was just going to say that it seems to be going again Though its gone 4:20am and Im starting to get sleepy it could be teasing me lol

Ah, that's reasuring. Just a passing thought, but this laginess may have to do with a recent news article my dad handed me- it seems that after the Taiwan earthquake, 6 of the 7 undersea communication cables between Taiwan and the Philippines snapped. They've sent ships to repair the damage, but given sea conditions they estimate that only one cable will be fixed by the end of January (no sense rushing the job and endangering people's lives after all). The current fallout is that comminications is Asia have to be rerouted to alternate routes- the effects will obviously ripple out, since everything's networked.
