Shops and Stocking

Okay I've been refreshing at the Royal Potionery and Book Shop every few minutes for an hour now and have yet to see ANY products! What's gonig on?

With the new restock system, the shops totally restock at random times.
And recently I think many of the shops haven't restocked for hours.
I know yesterday someone was refreshing a shop for 45 minutes with no restock.

I sat at fanciful fauna for an hour and a half the other day refreshing every 5 seconds. no restock.
(on a sadder note, when i was like, MAN i hafta pee, and ran to the bathroom for LITERALLY 45 seconds, i came back to realize that after an hour and a half of waiting, the shop had restocked while i was gone. *grumble grumble lame*)

I had the problem with Kiko Lake Carpentry. Wasn't really intending to buy much there, but a week or so ago, ended up there when it was restocking everytime and got quite a bit of stuff. Now...I never seem to catch it!

O/T, I LOOOOOVE the quote sigh_driven (sorry, not familiar with your name :oops:

). Mitch was probably one of the funniest people I've ever heard. The way he pronounces "hamburger" alone is enough to send me into hysterics.

Well, see, it used to be not random. But having it timed meant everyone knew when to be at a certain shop, and items would consequently sell out a lot faster. It also made it easier for anyone using an autobuyer.

So I actually think the new system is better. It's just that my luck's awful when it comes to snagging items (that, and I haven't really practiced

)
