I thought there were just plain random event.....
I just got a winter one playing cliffahanger puposly loosing to get the avvy!
I'll post a cap on my site later.....

Yeah, there are winter random events and also Tyrannian random events, as well as regular ones. Winter random events are pretty good, usually you find money or an ice negg.
