I know there was a topic concerning people that were challenging new players and winning but this concerns the WC specifically.

[QUOTE]-The number of games available for the World Challenges has been reduced with the most popular games always appearing and the least popular games appearing in a limited rotation. This prevents teams from ganging up on unpopular games to get the incredibly valuable prizes from this contest with no effort.[/QOUTE]

^The WC FAQ states that but is ganging up on a game against the rules or just frowned upon? I see numerous games that last hours upon hours because people aren't willing to play which is unfortunate. I've had to wait hours for some challenges to end because I don't want to lose (since there is some aspect of strategizing going on.) So why can't two friends submit scores to get their score total or tally up high and wait for an easy win? I mean there is a certain element of chance because other players can enter and submit scores so they're not 100% guaranteed to win or lose against their friend. Does anyone have any views on this? I'll probably ask something like this in the NT Editorial and hope it gets published since there is almost no info.

I'd advise against it. It seems far too much like "I can win this if you play as well" which is against the rules. Especially when you consider your wording of "an easy win" it seems very much against the rules.

It'd be far safer to go on the Games Neoboards and just say "Hey, we need somebody to fill in the fifth spot for a WC for Game X, if you feel like playing, why not give it a go?" or something. That way you can't be pinged by a moderator thinking you were fixing the results. It just seems to me that asking somebody/a friend to play (badly) so you can get an easier win seems like cheating

Yeah I'm in agreement with what you're saying. I just wondered if TNT had put out an official stand on this or not. In some WC hours before I've seen two players swoop in and send numerous scores on quick games like Whack-a-Kass or UBII. Games like that aren't too hard to rack up a decent score total or tally if at the other end of the spectrum it appears that the loser is "feeding" them scores. I agree that there is a difference between that and "I'm looking for a few players to play X WC since no one is entering."

Thanks for your input so far. ;)
