My account, anapnea, was frozen the other day for 'profanity'. I don't remember saying anything bad on the boards, so I thought it might be the banner I had made to link to /~HC_Reform, which contained this verse:

"There's a hole in the boards like a great black pit
And it's filled with people who are filled with *dung*
And the vermin of the site inhabit it..."

Where *dung* was the image one gets from that string on the Neoboards.
I never said the word anywhere, but does anyone think I could be frozen due to the [reasonable] assumption that I was implying it?

(I don't want to contact support about this, especially not via the Frozen Account form, as there's a DOB discrepancy between anapnea and my new account and I'd rather not bring attention to it.)

Rule One:

Quote:
1. Posting any offensive or sexual messages of any kind. This includes: profanity, disgusting or violent situations, insults/harrassment of players, hentei, sexual orientation, sexy pics, sexual symbols (especially symbols that represent male or female body parts), or any kind of *naughty* talk. (and using spaces, symbols or creative spelling to try to hide those words is not fooling anyone.)

It probably was the poem itself, not just the dung. The poem more than implied what you though of HC. It wasn't very nice.

Hmm, true. I hadn't thought of the actual insult there. XD Thanks.

If I read your post correctly, and instead of the word "dung" you used an image for dung, then I think you are being iced for the use of a word that means dung but rhymes with the last words in the other two lines, since it would be obvious to readers of your poem that the last word of each line would rhyme. This would make more sense than having only the first and third lines rhyme, and makes for a better poem, imo, although apparently not one that TNT wants- if the other word for "dung" is not allowed, which I don't know if it is or not.

You read correctly. I suppose this is why I was frozen.

It's best to play it safe, and never mention anything like that. I've had numerous accounts iced for using things similar to that - eventually I learnt my lesson, and just stopped even implying swear words, or insults. Neopets are really strict on their rules - shame that they don't moderate the newbie chat as much as they do other areas of the site. :(
