I've been considering having everyone in my guild or something use old fonts for just one day this Halloween, and act like it's halloween 2005.

It's a silly idea, but it's not like we get to dress up on Neopets. So our fonts all having a common, insane theme going back into the past might be interesting. I just want to see what happens, and if we can confuse anyone who isn't in on the plan

All I really know is that they had the lost desert plot going on around there somewhere. What other major milestones happened around or before halloween 2005 that most neopians on at the time would have remembered?

Stuff that happened in 2005:
New-Maraqua was released after the Maraqua plot. Similarly with Qasala and the LDP. Also Geraptiku and the petpet lab were released (I remember the days when the pieces of the map for it would cost 100k each...)
I know none of these are directly Halloween-related, but that mind remind people of something.
