At a certain shop, a Polarchuck is available for 412 Neopoints, a sock puppet is 81 Neopoints, and a hot dog is 965 Neopoints.

How many Neopoints would a candle cost? Please enter only a number with no other information.

Anyone got it yet? I have been trying for hours!

I don't have the slightest idea how to solve it, either. If I had to guess, I'd say maybe each consonant and vowel is "worth" a certain number of Neopoints. It's worth a shot, but as I said earlier, I don't know for sure.

Lets see Polarchuck is 412
Sock Puppet is 81 which is (4)1(2) - 4*2 = 8 and the 1 so 81
The Hot Dog is 965 which is (8)(1) - 8+1 = 9 and the (4)1(2) - 4+2 = 6 and the (4)(1)2 - 4+1 = 5 so 965

Thats my logic which is most likely wrong and makes no sense what so ever but it might be along the lines of something like that?

Actually after looking a bit and talking to a friend we believe its something to do with this

Polerchuck Game = http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=412 Notice the 412
Sock Puppet Sloth = http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=81 Notice the 81
Hot Dog Game = http://www.neopets.com/games/play.phtml?game_id=965 Notice the 965

What i believe to be the answer.

I can not say but i do believe its somewhere along those lines.

Yes, the solution has to do with the game id numbers.

Yes, please! I've only been able to solve the math problems... Of course, those are the only ones I've ever tried :)

It would appear that you were correct. If you do a search for "candle" in the game room, the only game that comes up is "Mutant Graveyard of Doom II" which is game ID 1042. 1042 was the correct answer.

At the risk of gloating:
