Has anyone here received their prize for the last Mystery Picture competition, the one with the Soup Faerie Neogreeting Card?? I know I was one of the first people to find it, and I haven't gotten anything. I'm wondering if TNT just totally spaced out giving out the prizes before putting the new Mystery Picture up today?? :(

Well, I know that they forgot to give out prizes and mention the answer to the conundrum that was two before this latest one. It was the one that came out a few months ago and after that, there was no lenny during that entire time. When they started the conundrum up again, there was no mention whatsoever of the last one prior to that time. Which really irked me because I worked a really long time figuring it out. I at least wanted to know if I had gotten the answer right.

So, it honestly wouldn't surprise me if they "forgot" to give out prizes for the last one. I think the person who is in charge of that particular puzzle is not "on the ball" for whatever reason.

I wonder though if they were that nitpicky with the answer.... the fact they said the answer was "Neogreeting #604 - Soup Faerie" strikes me as being more specific than usual. Even in the new features if it was a specific card, they'd mention the title of the object without the number or whatever.

I hope in the future, they are not going to be THAT picky on the wording! I still haven't forgiven them for being WRONG a couple of MP's ago!

I don't think the #604 should be required as part of the correct answer because it doesn't appear anywhere on the same page as the neogreeting card itself. You can only find the ID number if you check the properties page or the URL address. Even with past MP contests that have featured Collectable Cards, which all DO have ID numbers on the actual page, the ID number hasn't been required -- the name of the actual card has been sufficient. o_O

Which is why I suspect that someone who did the MP that round was being extremely nitpicky. The only time a number varible is required is in the case of a Neopian Times image or Caption Contest (and sometimes in that case those are mixed up to the point that they could have 2 possible answers -.- )

For reference the answer they provided for MP 309 included the collectable card number, but I remember getting that right without mentioning the number ... Hrm o_O

Ditto. I remember getting MP 309 right, along with the prize, and I didn't put in the card number either. I understand the reasons for putting in the ID number when it involves a Neopian Times issue or Caption Contest. But this MP is going too far. I could perhaps see it if the #604 was listed on the NeoGreeting Card page where the image is embedded, but to require it when it is only found on the URL or properties/source page is going too far. :(
