NEW INFORMATION (added Perks Information to above URLs)

Your leftover points have been brought into this year’s ‘Living with Less’ event with some modifications to suit the perks available this year and their prices.
The points were carried over in the following manner:
First 100 points – carried over as is
Next 900 points – reduced by 60%
Next 4,000 points – reduced by 70%
Next 45,000 points – reduced by 90%
Remaining points – reduced by 99%
You can see the total points carried over under ‘Carried Over Points’ in the Perk Shop Preview. (Now Live)

Edit: I have 636 sticky snowballs in my inventory. Guess I'm starting with those. And buying some more when I can... That brings me to... less than 1/3 of the way to my goal. *sigh*

Now I know why the site's been lagging. Not sure I can deal.

Edit: You must be feeling lighter already! You have earned yourself 0 points. Why is this linked to the inventory but not quickstock? This is even worse than the old system, JS - needlessly complicated and even slower. Ugh. UX.

I am battling a constant headache I have had for almost 2 weeks. My sinus/allergies are so bad I can barely think let alone sit and stare at my screen for hours.
At least I have 2 specialist apps. next week.
I really hope they can help me, as nasal sprays, anti-histamines and pain killers are not working.

I have no idea if I have enough items yet. I haven't got the patience today to add it all up.

This lag is insane!!

Oh, yay. This starts when I've got company coming in two days (thus I'm going to be crazy busy cleaning, and then enjoying time with company for a week). Maybe I'll have time to donate a bunch of stuff after she's gone, before it ends, and before I have a different set of company in town (which is also before it ends)? Sigh.

Also, I hope our previous points DO carry over, because yeah. At the very least, I already had enough leftover points for the bank and stock ones, and I'd like to activate those again.

ETA: I have not been as diligent about buying snowballs. I only have about 200 of them.

And it just awarded me 10 points for 10 sticky snowballs. Ugh. Sorry, JS, but get your frigging act together. Don't make up a points chart and not follow it. I'm not clicking 40,000+ times. I don't even think I have enough items I'm willing to part with.

Someone on the neoboards said to click the orange button, and it'll show you the proper amount? Does that work?

The orange button is what gave me 10 points for 10 sticky snowballs. Edit: wait... I see the button. It says 32 points. Still not the 80 I was allegedly supposed to get. How did I manage to get 3.2/snowball?!


Also, Atsumi from Shenkuu? Transparent effort to pretend like this event is anything like Marie Kondo. The thing is, if I spent the amount of time JS is demanding on my actual house, I would have only things that bring me joy in the end. This set up? No joy.... I *should* Marie-Kondo it...

When you are donating, on the popup it says 'Things I am discarding 0/10'.

Just click on your items (don't worry about closing out of the popup) and choose your 10 items. Then go back to the machine.

The machine only can do 10 items at a time. My first 10 went through with no problems.

That's what I did, Daze. It still takes forever because of the lag. Anyway, my second 10 items brought my total to 112 points (as they should have).

The animation is excruciating. I don't care, JS. I just don't.

I'd have to average 1286 points/day. Nope. I don't have time for that. And I refuse to make it. I'll aim for however much I can stand per day.

OMG this takes FOREVER to do. At least the previous process you could do it with keys (tab, etc). I got my 100 in (with the correct points on them) and earned the avvie, but...unless they make it easier, I'm not sure I can possibly have the time to do it all. Uuuuuugh.

You guys aren't kidding - Donating takes forever!

I sort of skipped the CC last year and regretted it for missing out on the avatar. This year, I figured that I would go for at least one perk. But, after donating a whopping 40 items so far for a total of 40 points, I will be lucky to get the avatar... ugh.

I didn't have many points left, so I am fine with my little bonus.

Carried Over Points: 715

My 22658 points were reduced to 3426. I'm actually pretty miffed about that. The good perks cost more this time around, and TNT was the one at fault for making the shop so poorly done last year. Why am I not able to get at least half of those points back? 15% is a slap in the face. I can't imagine how the people feel that had over 100k extra points.
