I think it's great. I've almost fallen for a few action scams, where one person bids at a low price and two othere bid the item really high in less than a minute, then bank their money, so the person who bid low gets the item for really cheap. Hopefully this will remove that scam, which was a really popular scam.

I think it's a realy good idea, and I don't know why they didn't implement this whole thing a lot sooner. I lost a couple of codestones that way once, getting bout 100np for them, and I was so annoyed.

You could tell who was an auction rigger on the boards for while, they were complaining that the new system made it so auctions weren't exciting any more. ROFL

Exciting? Lol.

The only minor problem I see is that buyers might use the auctions more reluctantly, since it's a commitment, making the hard-to-sells even harder to sell. The auctions were the only way I could get anyone to buy a few of those TCG cards. :? But it's still a good change.

Hmmm...I didn't think of that I have managed to sel a few hard to sells through auction. ALthough to be honest I'd prefer, in a way, to know if there is a bid that I will defintely be getting that mount for the item, if you see what I mean.

I think it's better now. I already put some items for auction, it was ages I didn't use them, since 2 users I will not name got a rare item for a very low price from me (one bid very low, the 2nd very high and then deposited the money... I was a newbie at the time and I didn't like that)

I'm a big fan of it - escrows are a great system, and the fact that TNT recognizes that people are scamming on the auctions by bidding what they don't have is a good idea - plus, it's a good way for users to avoid having their items lost as well - just do a neofriends-only auction with a spare account if you think someone's trying to get into your account, and they can't get your cash OR your auctions.
