Well, Flitwick is an integral part of the no-plan side of the Snape debate, but Fawkes is one of the most poignant examples of why we're debating in the first place, so I'll go with him.
(By the way, did you see the new development in said debate? I thought we'd exhausted every possibility by now, but it's pretty neat, it's the featured editorial on Mugglenet.)
