A new season of Hells Kitchen. I'm watching the first episode right now. :)

i dont get it... whats the appeal to this show? Ive seen adds and have had no interest in watching it, and it looks to me like youve got the equivalent to Simon on American Idol judging music, only now hes judging food on a show where the contestants make food instead of sing.... anything else to it?

I dont know... it's interesting I guess. And this guy is -way- ruder than Simon. But it's got about the same appeal as "From the Ground Up" and I wanted to watch that. =\ It's more like the apprentice than american idol.

I watch food shows... like you wouldn't believe. Food Network is my favorite Channel. If you follow it you know that Gordon Ramsey is actually a very brilliant chef, and he's been in a couple series on Food Network, such as Ramseys Kitchen nightmare. I watch Hells kitchen if I'm around, but unfortunately thats impossible most of the time in the summer due to my job. So... bleh.
But still. It's oddly nice to watch Gordon Ramsey yell at stupid people. Gordon Ramsey is so much more awesome then Simon. Simon can still be nice. Ramsey can be nice, but it's so much more impressive when Gordon goes off on someone.

I'm a bit mixed on this show. Yeah, I watched the whole season and found Ramsay harsher than necessary. That's an understatement. Oh, and some of his comments (especially today) seem really contrived.

I didn't plan on watching this season, but my friends kinda convinced me to. It all seems like more of the same to me...other than the fact that there have been more "casualties" now already than for the whole of last season.

Back on the topic of Ramsay being too harsh and passing off "I'm looking for the best" as an excuse- I found the whole searching in the dumpster thing today totally annoying. Food doesn't have to be wasted so much- it's HIS fault for telling them to dump everything when it's a teeny bit imperfect. Heck, why not eat it themselves?

Despite my kvetching, I'll still probably keep watching just to stare at the occasionally nice food that comes out of that kitchen. It's summer, there's not too much good TV on anyway.

Well, I love any reality show. So, I love Hell's Kitchen, lol.

I think the yelling is very enjoyable. Especially when he yells at his customers (which probably isn't the smartest thing to do...).

However, I don't understand why people go there if they know the food is going to be bad (and that they probably won't even get their food). Probably just to get on TV.

Ah. Good old Gordron Ramsey. One of our best imports.

He has a new series of 'Ramsey's F Word' starting over here soon, and I can't wait for it! He just has this appeal about him. He's nasty as hell, but you still love him.

Oh, and for his new show he's got 2 piglets (who he's called Trinny and Suzanna because 'One has a fat [bottom]' and the other one 'has small nipples') and he's going to be rearing one on beer.

I love this show, I watched most of the first season and I fell in love with it. It shows how stressful being a cook is and I just love the idiots on the show who cry at every little thing. Amazing.

I watched an episode today. While I like the cooking aspect, the outside-of-the-kitchen drama was very annoying to me. x_x I do think it's hilarious that the guys are such wussies and the women seem to be taking everything that's being thrown at them. I don't think I've seen a more sorry lot of guys on any other reality tv show, ever. The drama, however, is terrible. It's worse than BB and Survivor put together (and the Bachelor/ette if I wanted to go extreme). x)

Pfft, Garrett and Keith annoy me to no end. I really hope they lose, I mean, do you think Gordan Ramsey would want a chef who talks like "This is how I roll with them, anyone who knows me know I roll like this".

Idiot!

Haha! That was the most ridiculous quote I've ever heard.
But seriously, who in the world would want a chef that has their unders come out in the kitchen. BLECH I say.
