If it had been up to me, I would not have let Joey have a spinoff. I would instead give Phoebe a show... she's so interesting on her own

She is, Mike isn't. He doesn't have anything that's slightly amusing. For instance:
Phoebe- Weird, stupid girl.
Joey- Funny, stupid guy.
Rachel- Ditzy, self-centered girl.
Ross- Super smart, mood swings, most feminine of all guys.
Chandler- Jokes, funny guy.
Monica- Clean freak, competitive, super smart girl.

I hate Phoebe, I just dislike the character
I saw Friday's episode, it was quite good, one bad point though, they played Franz Ferdinand, and it didn't really fit with the scene, well they could have picked better music. Still a good episode though.
And you know something is going to happen with Joey and Alex
