Megaman VS. Zero

I have always wondered. If Megaman and Zero were to fight til the death, or so to speak, who would win?

Who is the better reploid? Robot? Whatever thingy...?

Who do people like best?

Personally I chose Zero right from the start before I really knew anything about the two characters. I don't even call Megaman by his name. He is simply the Blue Dude.

But what is the opinion of others?

So I ask you this all puzzling question; Who of the two is the best?

Good point, except that Megaman would burn up in his pathetic flames for so long that Zero's floor would be gone as well.

Neither would win. Both are video game characters therefore they can both be programmed to have infinite life, whether it be by Game Shark or hacked. Hail the power of none! :3

Though I do prefer Megaman because I've disliked most of the games that started after Zero entered the picture.

Wow! I didn't expect this much of a response! Lol. I guess the issue has been around for some time.

Well, the polls speak for themselves. So far it's Zero with six votes. I guess Megaman has seen better days. Lol.

Sorry Kugetsu, but unless he gets more votes, Megaman will remain the underdog and Zero will reign supreme.

As for the fact that they are both videogame characters, we are all aware. If I applyed this fact though then this whole thing would be pointless.

The last of Wily's Creations....anyway, his armor is cooler, and he has that beam saber.
Plus Megaman seems to lose all his upgrades after every game, forcing you to get them again.
Now, if he kept every upgrade from every game...=P

I must admit, this is a hard say. Megaman X has his X-Buster, which is a long-range weapon that can be charges and copy the powers of bosses. Then again, Zero has a Z-saber that can block bullets with a single swipe (not too powerful shots, though) and we can recall that Zero beat Copy X. Of course, Zero is made of a different armor then X that is even stronger then Fortenium (Bass' armor), but it's never revealed what X is made of, so it's uncertain which is made of tougher stuff. I must say, this is a very difficult call for me.

It said in the beginning cutscene of Megaman X1 that it was made out of something called Titanium X, I believe.

Oh pffft, MMX1 doesn't show the true potential of Zero (in fact he dies *crytearsob*). The Reploids are also much more advanced than the robots in the original Megaman series, they're stronger and smarter and stuff. More advanced armors and weapons and whatnot (what boss in the original Megaman series has a beam-sabre? Huh? HUH?). Zero's sword would chop through the bosses like a hot knife through butter. Mmmm... butter....

Zero can double-jump and climb walls, he'd get outta there quickly and unharmed. :3

Zero got boss powers in the X games? He didn't in the ones I played, I thought he just got more powerful. And the Zero series is meant to be near-impossible, but I've played it. He doesn't gain their powers, but he gains upgrades and new weapons as the game progresses. In the 3rd Zero game you can change everything from what element his charged weapons use to what extras he has (like water-hopping and ability to not fall on cracked floors).

KNOW YOUR ROOTS! I think many people that used to be obsessed with the earlier MM games would probably vote Megaman. Unfortunately, they are too far and few.
