The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

I was not expecting Dumbledore to win that one. Ah well, so far we haven't had any contestant more obscure than Winky in the first round, and for some reason we haven't had Harry yet, and such is not to change.
From SS/PS:
Dumbledore
vs.
Hagrid
As for me, Hagrid is kind of annoying when he's not infodumping, which would be in the entirety of books 2-4, so I go with Dumbledore.

I can't really choose, so I'll say Hagrid, just so it's even at the moment.

Hagrid. I love his character in the books, and in the movies it is so funny when he says, "I shouldn't have told you that." "I shouldn't have told you that." "I really shouldn't have told you that!"

I love Hagrid, I think he's a great character. However, I love Dumbledore too and in between the two I think I'll have to choose Dumbledore over Hagrid.

Dude Hagrid is like way cooler than Dumbledore. Not even old guys can match the coolness of really big guys with bushy face hair! o.o

Dumbledore is too cool so much power in such a old man(700 years old or something?)

Ahhhh..I've gotta say Dumbledore, since I prefer his moral-theme dumping to Hagrid's info dumping, to steal Tharkun's terminology.

Hmm, that's a rather hard one.
I think I'll have to go with Hagrid. He's just so...loveable. =P

I like both of them, even though I dislike Dumbledore's Gryffindor bias. But Hagrid can be rather annoying, so I'll stick with Sir I-Love-Gryffindor.

He's 150 years old. Wizards and Witches' lifespans are twice that of a Muggle. So, while a few Muggles may live to the age of 100, a few magical folk may live until they're 200.
You wouldn't be able to live to be 700 years old, even if you were a Wizard/Witch, unless you used/drank something highly illegal, such as Unicorn Blood, or using the Philosopher's Stone (Nicholas Flamel and his wife were upwards of 800-years-old when they died, I believe, after destroying the Stone).
And that's all for this little Wizarding History lesson from your friendly neighborhead Potteraddict, ...Alex. Now, back to your scheduled program! =D

I like Hagrid, but in my opinion he really doesn't compare to dumbledore. Without the beloved headmaster, so many of the characters would be so lost and hopeless. The books just wouldn't be the same without dumbledore so I voted for him.

Alex you Pottermaniac, you!
After a long heated debate inside my head (picture Dumbledore on one shoulder and Hagrid on the other in angel and devil outfits) and I voted for Dumbledore. He's just far too cool. And besides, Hogwarts without Dumbledore is crazy. As you've seen in the fifth book.

Alex, how exactly do you know this? O.o
I love Hagrid. He is so big and squishy and cute.

Dumbles. Even though the naked time thing scares me, Hagrid's 'I'm a half giant' song was even MORE frightning...O.o
EDIT: Oh, BTW, the Flamels were about 600 when they died. Nicolas was the big 666, I believe...

I can count myself grateful that I barely remember Potter Puppet Pals.

Well, I wound up chosing Hagrid. Dumbledore may be eccentric, but I'll just never forget he made me laugh in the first movie.
"Shouldn't have said that..."
