Book genres

I have this presentation to do at school...and I was thinking of having the topic on books. Erm...I kinda need you to vote for which type of books you like to read best, and do you mind telling my how the types of books influence you? Thankyou

I enjoy contemporary fiction mostly. It's usually original and doesn't rely on old ideas and old style. I love horror and fantasy work, but it depends who it's by. I won't just read any old rubbish. I did that as a teenager and haven't got the time to do that anymore. I like non-fiction more than anything else, science books, and biographies are my favourites.

I love horror books... Especially the ones that end each chapter wanting you to continue... Athough I hate horror movies...
Modern is also cool in my opinion.

I dont really like Myths, Legends, Medieval , and Fantasy types because they're all make-belive, and require too much imaginataion, which I don't have... But I make an exception to Harry Potter...

I like... fantasy but not too farfetched.. it's hard to decide, books are a very flexible subject and I like all different kinds.

Hmm...regular fiction, drama, and maybe some fantasy, horror, and romance.

Out of those choices though, I'd say fantasy since I'm obsessed with the HP books .

I'll read pretty much anything though .

I'm mostly into fantasy, but I try to be broad-minded - really, I read things for the writing, not the genre. For instance, sci-fi and mysteries are two categories I barely ever read, but some of my favorite works fall into those. I also love reading the old classics... yeah, I'm a geek; and I enjoy parody/humor books as well. Pretty much anything well-written, really.
