The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

Yes, that's right, Everybody Loves Raymond will end officially on Monday May 16, 2005. I will say that I'm sad to see it go. It was a different type of comedy (Or at least to me it was) and I will honestly, never forget it. It was an awesome show and I will be buying the seasons on DVD. They're just too great.
Who else will be catching the sad 90 minute departure of the series?

I'm also going to watch the series finale. I love this show, it made me laugh so much.

Meh.. I won't be watching it.
Yeah, there are some pretty funny moments.. like the one show where the mom makes that statue that looks like... well... something.
But other than that.. meh, there were much better family comedy shows.. such as Roseanne.

The first few seasons were ok, but the plots were all the same.
*shrug*
Can't say i'm sad to see it go, but it is the end of another sitcom. The era is ending.

Didn't an era just end when friends went off? Where are we getting all these eras from?

I don't think Friends was the end of the sitcom era. Or maybe it's a different Era. I dunno.
Just... really how many good sitcoms do we have now? They keep popping up... really they do, but they're just not the same. *shrug*

A lot of new sitcoms are popping up and none have really made a large impact. They're only a few diamonds in the rough.

In the Uk they stuck it on at a really ridiculous time, like 8am so I've only ever seen a few episodes and we're probably several series' behind. Seems like a good show though. I love Doris Roberts, does anyone remember her as Mildred Krebbs in Remington Steele? She was great in that.
