I can't wait to see it either. I loved the original movie they created for it. I don't know if it's a good thing that they're recreating it, but I hope they stay loyal to the book, and if they do I think it will turn out amazingly.

From the preview it looks like an amazing movie. I believe some of the people who worked on the LOTR series are working on this one too.
Also, Amy Lee is set to sing the theme song.

I doesn't look like something I'd be intrested in, but some of my favorite singers and recording songs for the soundtrack, so.. I'll keep an open mind on it.

so we can expect to see a massive army of the dead -or rather somthing that is only mentioned in passing in the book- defeating the Alliance of darkness at the end, with Aslan maybe getting beat up with peter or somone (maybe that kid from the boy and his horse?) bumping off the white witch (that has spotlights for a gaze, that cant see through conveniently placed rocks, but can pierce a persons soul) ?
*still bitter*
im expecting great dissapointment, works the best.
im either validated, or pleasently suprised that way.

Nothing can be as unnerving as that frikkin' cartoon.
Since when were the kids American? Pfft.

Seen the trailer a bunch of times, looks to me like a Disneyfied LotR rip-off.
Movies with long names can never be good news.

It's a movie of the book you nonk.

The visual effects in the original movie kicked arse anyway.
Holy Crap! It's a crayon drawn flaming green skull flyin right at me!

You know what'd be fun?
If they squeezed all seven books into one film. That'd be fun. "omg We woke up this giant lady!" Two minutes later, "OMG ASLAN!!! My mum is cured!" Years later, "OMG A Wardrobe! Let me hide in there and maybe I'll lock myself in, run out of air, and die!" And then fifteen minutes later, "OMG Aslan just pushed me off a cliff! :O"

As for the LoTR rip off comment, wern't the Chronicles of Narnia written before LoTR?
Even if they wern't, I fail to see how C.S Lewis ripped off Tolkien. Yes, there are rings in the Magician's Nephew, but they are different from TEH ONE RING.

I think I want to see this movie, but I'm not sure. I loved the book, and the little corny cartoon movie was fun. (We watched it in school a long time ago.) I'll most likely wait for it to come out on DVD and rent it. Save myself the pain of going to the movie theatres and spending ten bucks on a ticket.

I want to see this. It actually looks fairly decent, and I've been a fan of the Chronicles since I was five and we watched the cartoon movie in first grade
I almost concussed myself smacking my head off a wardrobe when I tried to get into Narnia....hehe....

I wanna see it. Sure it might suck but I support any kind of fantasy movie that comes out
Well... until I see it and then if it sucks I'll say so
heh
And yeah.. *nodnod* any fantasy movie I'll see b/c there needs to be more of them *nodnod*

That's exactly what I was thinking, The LoTR and The Chronticles of Narnia are completely differentm I don't get how they're related at all.
Igg, what cartoon are you referring to though?
