It's that time of year again where everyone gathers to give pre-selected awards out to all the irritating artists I don't like.
Except maybe Gorillaz. Go them/him.

Wow. Someone likes Boulevard of Broken Dreams..
I think it's unfair the same people are selected over and over and over.. Kelly C.. Green Day.. Gwen.. Ciara.. Coldplay.. regardless of their talent its just.. like.. ain't fair. :O Give poor little people a chance! If the video is like really really really good, okay, like two nominations is fine. :O

MTV any kind of award show = biggest load of publicity bullcrap EVER!
Actually any award show= that.
I stopped caring who wins what after a long time ago.. then cared when LOTR won everything.. then went back to not caring again
heh
It's always the same lame thing.. specially with MTV. Whatever was the most popular teeny bopper crap wins it all.... almost never the artists that actually deserve it.

Vertigo shall win everything, even the catergories it's not in
Tue Jul 26, 2005 1:41 pm
As long as Drop It Like It's Hott wins the categories it's in, and Beverly Hills wins the one it's in, I'll be happy. The majority of the nominees just plain suck. o.o
Tue Jul 26, 2005 4:26 pm
I hope The Killers win. I love Mr. Brightside. I'm so glad my friend got me that CD for my birthday in October when she mistakingly thought that they were my favourite band (I only ever expressed medium-liking of "Somebody Told Me" but that CD rocks!).
Tue Jul 26, 2005 5:22 pm
The only people I'm looking forward to seeing win is The Killers, The Gorillaz and thats really it. But, I know Green Day is going to win every catagory there in.

Tell me about it. I mean, how can Jet win best rock VIDEO for "Are You Gonna Be My Girl?" when they were up against a wonderful animated video (Linkin Park) and a beautiful scenary-filled video (Evanescence)? It was obviously the most popular song out of the five nominees. I remember Jet fans saying they're happy Jet won but the video wasn't the best out of the 5 nominated.
Tue Jul 26, 2005 5:30 pm
To be fair, you're not going to watch a music video if the song itself is crap. MUSIC video - they're called that for a reason. Jet didn't have the most incredible video (I enjoy it however) but it is a really good song.
Plus, I don't need to see Amy Lee wearing some daft bandage costume displaying those moles on her chest.
