Come on it's an awesome show. I actully like there latest ride they done which is an 1986 Buick Century Limited, just for the fact they put a MTX Jackhammer in it.

I love this show. But I've seen almost every episode so I'm really starting to get annoyed. But, if new ones come on, I'll watch them.

I think it's just ridiculous, except for the fact that once he's gone you can pry all the electronics out of your car for your house...
I mean, goldfish in a car?
I want to see a show called 'Pimped rides that crashed'.

A lot (all) of the cars are just done too over the top. Coffee makers, Playstations, mini-fridges, a place to hang your clothes....It's no longer a car, it's an apartment on wheels!
Ah well, my brother and my dad watch it constantly.
I wouldn't really want my car "pimped out" truthfully. (Oh gosh, I am
never saying 'pimped out' ever again.
)

Or rides that sold on ebay.

As bizarre or cool as some of the cars on that show come out as, I think watching Overhaulin' or Rides on TLC is the better way to go. You could say...classier. :P

I'v seen a couple episodes, and well, I got bored pretty quickly.
In my opinion, MTV comes up with the lamest reality shows.

The British Version of Pimp My Ride is one of the funniest things I've seen in my life.

Did anyone see the one for the DJ? They put a.. Uhh.. DJ mixer thing in the boot for him, along with a camera to watch the audience. Coolness.

There are new ones out. like the guy whose car's bumper was in the passenger seat of the car. that one was the funniest thing ever

What about the guy whos bumper was attached on by bungee cord? Or the woman who they said was Herbie's stunt double?

Well to add to that in Germany they have Pimp my bike! Biking is major in Germany so it is only right and German cars are already suped up as it is.
Yes some are over the top, but there are still some that just have the basics, but they will always have at least one thing that is over the top just for fun.
I also think that MTV has just fine reality show, much better then the ones that are out there.
I can also say I've seen every episode as well and it is no fun watching them over and over, but every Sunday during there Sunday stew they have new episodes of Viva La Bam, Pimp My Ride, Punk'd, The Andy Milonikis Show, and Trailer Fabulous (if that's what it is called?).

I wanna see that. Ditto for the German one too.
But back to the US one. Some of the rides I do like. The pimped out Bug was cool. But some are idiot and completely illogical.
The latest one I saw was Westcoast pimping a pickup by installing all kinds of gigantor TV screens, woofers, speakers IN THE BED OF THE TRUCK so it's in plain view all the frickin' time. If that isn't all stolen by the second day, something is wrong with the crooks.
And MAD magazine did a excellent spoof of the show, adding their own original "what happens to the pimped people after the show." And like Chris suggested, their cars do get wrecked. Once was because the guy behind was too busy watching the LCD screens behind the seats and ended up rear-ending the pimped ride.
But again, some ideas were cool. I'd much rather slap a spiffy body-kit on my car and work on the engine instead

It's fantastic! (the British one)
Tim Westwood is absolutely hilarious. First his radio show, then on Channel U, now Pimp My Ride...
You've never seen a white vicar's son want to be black SO MUCH.
The man wipes his hands after he shakes hands with the people doing the work on the car...
Oh hell, I can't describe the wiggerish glory that is Westwood. You just have to see it.
