Closer than I thought it would have been. This week, The Lord Of The Rings will go up against the Disney Classic 'Beauty and the Beast'

Beauty and the Beast...
In Lord of the Rings, I didn't like Frodo for some reason...I wanted him to get mummified by the spider ^^

LotR... Beauty and the Beast is a classic, but how can anyone compair something so well done to an old animated movie.

*sobs* Such a hard decision. When it comes down to it though I think I'll have to go with Beauty and the Beast. Lord of the Rings was one of the best movies I've ever seen but Beauty and the Beast is a classic and its a fond memory from childhood so I'll have to go with that one.

Be our guest! Be our guest! **hums lots**
I was all about Beauty And The Beast when I was a kid. I had the bedding set and the magic toy mirror too =D

The Lord of the Rings definately! It's a masterpiece! Though beauty and the Beast is a classic, it just can't compare to what they did with the Lord of the Rings.

Beauty and the Beast. I never really liked LotR's that much, to be honest. It's really boring in some parts. At least Beauty and the Beast can keep me entertained. Besides, some of the songs are really cool. ("Something there..."
... although LotR has some beautifully scored pieces as well, such as... the flute one. I can't remember what it was called.)

Beauty and the Beast. It's an improvement upon canon, doesn't have any jarring appeals to adolescents, and it is the best movie Disney ever made (yes, that includes Snow White - feel free to throw things at me, Walt-faithfuls.)
No, Lord of the Rings. The score is brilliant, Rohan connects in a way it never did in the books, and it's the best book-to-movie adaptation other than Green Mile (and the two are just as moving.)
Yeah, but the fact that it's the second-best book-to-movie adaptation I've seen is a sad, sad state of affairs for authors.
On the other hand, I want to bear Weta Workshop's children.
Er. I really can't vote this week.

I love Beauty and the Beast (Disney classics are hard to hate) and even though I loved Lord of the Rings, I like Beauty and the Beast better.

LotR. Disney must die.

Lotr obviously, beauty and the beast is one of the disney movies I really didn't like at all. Probably because whenever it's mentioned i think about the part about eating all those eggs =/
