The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

Did anyone watch the premiere last night? It's the basically the same as The Apprentice: Donald Trump but it's her and it has a little differences here and there. Considering Donald Trump helped produce it, I would think it wouldn't be that much different that his. But it was a good show and I'm actually looking forward to watching both of the Apprentice's each week.
I'm such a reality junkie.

It seemed a little...messy to me. The task was interesting and neat, but Martha didn't seem all that much of a big boss to me. Especially during the boardroom arguments. Trump pulls off the show better.
And the "You just don't fit in" line? Worst thing I've ever heard. :P

It was okay. I don't really like it like how I like the original apprentice but I think I'll continue watching it. I like" your fired " better then what ever she said.

I watched the end of it. I about cracked up when she took a piece of paper out and wrote a letter that almost apologized for firing that guy. Donald Trump would say "You're fired" and never think back on the people.

DM is going to say something, and many people won't like her.
I hope Martha Stewart catches fire one day.

OK, I loved her. But she still did a bad thing, and must pay.

Yep, she fibbed to government officials. It's a bad thing.
And she already did pay.
Paid disproportionately because the gov't decided to use the high-profile (but low-stakes) case to prove it's tough on white-collar crime. It helped that a lot of people had already found Martha and her impossible-for-most-folks standard annoying. And, of course, she wasn't tight with Bush & Cheney.
But gosh, if people catch fire for fibbing to feds, the country is in for a hot time.
Liar, liar, pants on fire, indeed.
(Or is it some other bad thing she did that she must still pay for?)

Okay, lame catchphrase... Check.
Weird letter writing at the end... Check.
Reality show... Check. And that's why I will be watching...
No but seriously, the whole letter thing is a little creepy. Cool task though!

I know, I was like "Uh, what the Hell?".
I guess she wanted to add an "original" flare to it.

The letter writing is her "you're fired". She doesn't have a catchphrase. She writes a letter.
I actually like this show a lot still. I thought the Tulip idea was going to work better than the other teams. Guess I was wrong. I hate Jimbo. He needs to go. Does he even want to be Martha's Apprentice? I hope he goes for PM sometime soon and messes up big time.

I know what you mean, it's stupid really. Jim is one of those "I'm going to go on this show to gain publicity for myself". He isn't one of those "I'm going to be on this show to win". He wants to gain publicity so when he's fired, he can get on Oprah and crap. He is what I call "fake evil". It's just better when some is genuially evil on that show.

First off, worse catchphrase ever as some above me have already mentioned. 'You don't fit in' makes it sound like it's the popular kids table at a school.
Secondly, what's with the letter writing? I mean wanting to put a sensitive ying of Trump's yang spin on things is fine and dandy, but writing something to the effect of 'Dear John Doe, I am dearly sorry you didn't fit in with our clique of a board. I hope the road of life takes you to many happy places beyond this yadda yadda yadda, would you like towels? [shamelessplug]My Martha Stewart Living brand is on sale at K-Mart![/shamelessplug] =D!'
And that's all I have to say about that

First off, since Martha Stewart's Apprentice has been getting no so great ratings, and America's Next Top Model is stealing a lot of it's veiwers, they have decided to move it back an hour to 9 PM EST.
Ummm... I'd like to know what the NBC execs were thinking. "Wow, we're not doing good against America's Next Top Model. Hey- I've got an idea! Let's move it to Lost's timeslot! YEAH!"
Like, what were they thinking?
Well, looks like I won't be watching this show any more. It can't beat Lost.

Looks like anyone can get their own show now, even ex-cons.
