Tails is definately up there on my list, but my all-time favorite is Knuckles.
He's just so fun to play as.

Oh, and do Chao count as fav characters, too?

I never played the games much, as I didn't have any of the Sega systems. Whenever I played, it was always at a friend's house, and I was always Tails, so I'm rather partial to the cute little guy. ^_^

Tails definitely, ever since StH 2 came out. x) I like Espio and Mighty too (excluding comic-based characters), but I remember having a phase as a child when I drew Tails on everything (homework, walls, myself. Yes, I'm strange.). xD

Dude! I COMPLETELY forgot about Espio! When I was like 5 or so, I saw him in the comics and I was just like, in love with him (yes, in love with a chameleon). He still rocks.
I don't like him in Sonic Heroes though.

So yes, my fav Sonic characters are Knuckles, Espio, and the Chao. OH AND CHAOS 0... ugh, I can't decide.

all i know is sonic 2 for sega genesis, but i love tails. in that game, in 1p, tails is immortal. so with 2 controllers, 1 person is sonic and leads, and the other jsut uses tails and her immortal powers to own everything

Tails, and he still is. For some reason, I felt like taking my Sega system down from the attic. Having completed Sonic 3 and Knuckles with both Tails and Knuckles, I have to say, it's a whole lot more fun with Tails. His super form is excellent (who doesn't want flickies?) and he's just... the best. Knuckles makes walls shake, pah.

Pah, the Emerald Guardians were cool.
They were like, phrssshshhhhhhh and POW! BOOOOM!
Then Knuckles activated the rest of them to defend the Island
I dont expect many people to have any idea what im talking about.
(And Brown sonic was better than blue sonic i tells ya!)
