2007: Transformers the movie.

Generation 1 redux.
Full CGI.

The apocalypse could occure shortly after for all i care :D

Hehe, I remember looking at the Narnia movie website about 3(??) years ago, when it was first announced. I was so excited! It was a long wait for that one :D

The Hobbit will be interesting, I'm looking forward to that. And I have to admit, I'm interested in seeing a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. I was obsessed with them when I was little, and the movies weren't all that bad... were they... ? (okay, it's been a while) The costumes have gotten really out of date, but I reckon they could do the turtles and Splinter really well now :)

With the producer that had never heard of transformers before and produces lots of flop movies, and Steven Spielburg that doesn't really care, and the interviews where they say 'we're making this only to make money', it'll be the apocalypse.

"We're now starting our first but certainly not our last Transformers movie that I hope will be an enduring franchise and we're going to be making many, many more Transformers movies in the future. But we're going to make the best one first because we want the best one to inspire everybody to not only play with these toys but to want to know about the further adventures of all of these characters, both human and machine alike"

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles new cartoon failed so quickly here. Nobody will go see the movie, I feel as though they are outdated.

The smurfs? Oh bloody hell.

And as for The Hobbit, I think it'll never be made due to the fact that the rights to make it are unobtainable.

I am far far more interested in Evangelion.

Im still excited about that one line.

"Unicron? No. Not in the first film"

Sides, shes a looking good since then.
and if nothing else, G-1 Redux toy line :P

Erm...yeah. Toys :D

I have a feeling the Smurfs movie will be quite censored.

What is Justin Timberlake doing in Shrek..?

And how come they need to make Toy Story and Shrek 3? Come up with some more original movies..

Both movies made such huge amounts of money for their companies that frankly, they're trying to cash in more. However both originals and their sequels were highly enjoyable, so as long as numero 3's end up OK I have no problem with them making the movies. They're not your typical sequels. They put as much effort into the second movies, as they did to the first, which is rare.
Unfortunately I have more faith in Shrek 3, then I do in Toy Story 3 based on what i've already heard.

totally agreed. the real money makers are when theyve brought back old movies, like Bambi 2 and Cinderella 2... etc... toy story 3 and shrek 3 will probably be pretty good.... i hope. Then again, ive heard pixar and disney are splitting up... i hope that doesnt effect the movie quality. They DO put in as much effort into 2's as the originals, but QUITE often, the 3rds in a series ends up being horrible.. thats what im worried about.... toy story 2 was a lot more of the same, but now that the toys are being recalled to tawaiin... heh, thats a great movie concept. could be enjoyable. And remember the amazing jump from shrek 1 to shrek 2? if they did that again... ugh, it would AMAZING!

Transformers movie= super phsyched.... transformers is totally awesome.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle= Not like, but ill see it. They only made it because UPN (or whatever they call it these days) tried to make a new animated TV show, but its.... UPN, and their kids shows suuuuuck. If they were going to make a new TMNT movie, they should make it non-animated, even though theyve allready made 3 (but that was in the 80s) so they could make a 20-year comeback like theyve done with superman, indiana jones, and batman. They could make a new-age ninja turtle movie... people would love that, i bet. Ninja turtles will be in the kid in my heard forever!

Charlottes web= GREAT idea.... for a kids movie, that is. I probably wont see it, because i only see movies to see certain ones, not because i feel like going to a movie... but im sure theyll do a great job with that.

Spiderman 3- OMG SPIDFSDFSDFFFFERRRRRR MANNNN AH!!!! CANT WAITTTT HE IS MY IDOL!

Sun Jan 29, 2006 5:07 am

Charlottes web?

Doesnt she kick the bucket at the end after a really moving eulogy?
Not kids movie material id say? Not with "Teh PC Freak1ness!!1!11" Being rampant anyways.

Toy Story 3 isn't happening from what I hear. Luckily, when Disney and Pixar finally joined forces, last week I believe, Pixar put an end to it. I am so happy.

Yeah, that's what I heard too...

Oh, and I hate to say this, but I'm afraid Spider-Man 3 might suck royally. Mainly because Topher Grace is playing Venom. When I heard that I was crying and laughing at the same time, because they couldn't have picked a worse person. He's so skinny, and Venom's all muscular.

And I don't think The Hobbit will take that long, I think they set it that far because they're having trouble getting the rights. From what I've heard, New Line and Miramax are sorta fighting, because New Line is producing it and Miramax is distributing it or something.

Thu Feb 02, 2006 10:40 pm

Topher Grace isnt necessarily playing venom... hes playing Eddie Brock. They buffed up... that dude playing Peter Parker.. look at the skinny wimp he was before. They can probably help Topher out there. Plus, they arent going to let VENOM look like topher grace.... they will make a sweet costume for him and we all know it.

Fri Feb 17, 2006 10:26 am

And the word on the grapevine is that we won't actually get to see Venom until the last few mins of the film, as a set up for Spiderman 4, kinda like Phoenix in X-Men 2.
