It looks like the reflection is...spiderman. But to a more pressing question why is Spiderman dressed in black, are we gonna go through the whole venom episodes?

As I recall (IE:Wait until somone with a better memory confirms/denies it) The venom parasite initially hosted with spidey, making his suite black.
o_O
Or made a black duplicate.
Or both.

Well whatever.

As i vaguely remember, unverifiably, spidey used a black suit because it was more cool and useful, but he stopped when it took over him

Spider-Man found a wondrous new black costume while fighting an epic battle called the Secret Wars.

The costume could respond to his thoughts, take on the appearance of any type of clothing and even produce it's own webbing. The web slinger wore this sleek black costume until he discovered that it was really an alien symbiote that was trying to permanently bond with him. Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four used a sonic blaster to sever the symbiote's connection with the web slinger and trapped it in a special container.

Spidey wore a regular fabric version of this black costume until he had a confrontation with the escaped symbiote and it's new host, Eddie Brock. Together they called themselves VENOM. After narrowly defeating Venom, Spider-Man went back to wearing his traditional red and blue costume, so he wouldn't be reminded of his greatest enemy.

They're doing the Venom stuff this time around? Great! I can't wait for next year to see it.

I'm shocked that I've remained as spoiler-free as I have for this movie, but what I've heard so far sounds like it'll be fun to watch. :)

Venom is going to be in this one because Eddie Brock is going to be played by Topher Grace. I for one think this is a horrible idea, because when I think of him I think of scrawny, because that's what he is (no offense or anything).

2007? Eesh.

But wasn't "Venom" originally scrawny before he turned evil? That's how I remember it.

Eh, I dont really like 3rd movies, they kinda get dull. I probably won't watch it. I didn't like the 2nd one either, the first one was the best to me.

*100th post* :o :o :o :o

I agree with you there, sequels and triquels (does that word exist?) usually aren't as good as the first one. Though for spiderman you've got to admit that they actually did their best to make a good movie instead of just relying on the fact that everyone will come and see it anyway.

I'm going to see the 3rd one, simply because I enjoy watching these kind of enormous-scaled movies where they look after every single detail. When watching the DVD extra's you can see that they spend a few months designing, choosing, fabricating the original spiderman costume while it only actually appeared on the screen for a few minutes. It makes me happy when watching this kind of movie ^_^
