The big screen and the small screen... together at last! Hurrah!

Yeah, kiddos, basically what the subject says. Ever get choked up upon hearing that a celebrity has taken the fateful stairway to heaven?
I have, but only once, which was due to Joe Strummer from The Clash.
How about you?
(PS. I wasn't sure if this should go in Entertainment Polls or Misc. Polls, since it is about entertainment, but it's not like the other polls in this forum.)

Nope, not yet. Maybe stunned for a second or two because some of them are unexpected, but none of my favourite celebrities have died yet. I do think it's sad when they do pass, though.

No. I find it a bit hard to cry over someone I don't know, though of course it's sad when anybody dies.
But Glenn Quinn was pretty close.

So far, just Phil Hartman. One of the comedic greats of my lifetime and the only person that should be in the Simpsons Movie that won't be there.

Nope, I never have. Honestly, I'll save my tears for someone I know. Crying over someone I only saw on TV or heard in music is a tad overboard. Sorry for people who do...

Nope, haven't done that. I find celeb deaths in general to be very sad and I do miss some of them when they are no longer around but never to the point of tears...

No, I have not.

Never.

I don't believe I have, although it was very sad when John Ritter died.

As of yet no, but I have been really saddened. Sometimes as selfish as it sounds I think its more about my life than theirs... when "miss Elizabeth" died I remembered watching wrestling as a little kid with my Dad and thinking just how much I loved her as a little girl, lol, I was young enough that I thought she was actually royalty. I hadn't thought of her for over a decade and would never have guessed it would have made me sad...but it did. Some stars are that way...I guess its what they stood for that made me feel that way?

Glenn Quinn? ...GLENN QUINN?! Mark! *cries*
Geez, I didn't know that. <_< You may know him as Angel from Buffy, but I know him as Mark from Roseanne.
Nope. Except for the above. XD I did almost cry when I found out about Peter Jennings death. I grew up watching him just about every night.

He wasn't Angel from Buffy. He wasn't even on Buffy. He played Doyle, a half demon, in the spinoff
television show Angel. David Boreanaz played the actual character of Angel on Buffy/Angel.
Glenn Quinn died in 2002 at a friend's house after overdosing on heroin.

I have never cried when a celebrity dies because the ones that I love are still alive. But when they will die I wont really care because I would probly like other celebrites by then.

I cried when Michael Cuccione of the fake boyband 2ge+her died. I used to be way obsessed with him

Whenever a voice actor from Transformers (like Starscream or Jazz) dies, or from Reboot (Capt Capacitor) I feel very depressed.
