Do you read or write (or despise...) fanfiction?

I'm just a reader, and I wouldn't be a very good writer since I have a knack of starting projects and never finishing them. I'm partial to Harry Potter fanfiction, and sometimes Lord of the Rings fanfics. Usually humorous ones.

The only thing I really don't like are Mary Sues. They ruin the story, in my humble opinion. *twitch*

For me, it really depends on what the fanfiction is about. If it ruins the story for me or throws people together that I don't like I can't be bothered. :/

I read a lot...mostly Labyinrth(Sarah x Jareth) and Harry Potter(Hermione x Snape).

I may read a bit... Its not my favorite type.
The kind I do read sometimes is from the HP series...

And theres another one which I wont mention...

I loooooove fanfiction. I search and search till I find a good fic, read it, and then search for another one. (My favorites list has around 75 stories on it, I'll bet. ^.^;; )

I'm bad at writing though. I'm far too impatient...

I write some fanfic, mostly Harry Potter, LotR, and fairy tales.
I don't have much now, but as soon as I get home from camp, I have some ideas I'm going to develop.

Actually, I'd really appreciate any feedback from you guys - my account on fanfiction.net is Lady Laughing Owl.

I read occasionally, when I'm really really bored, but usually I'm too nitpicky to enjoy them.

I hate mary sues! I usually read LOTR fanfiction, usually involving Eowyn. It ticks me off when they destroy her personality, make her a mary- sue... The "Sword and snake" people have SERIOUS problems (People who make Grima x Eowyn fics), but sometimes people will do stuff other than romance. I have a few fanfics started.

I occasionally read fanfiction. I haven't written any yet (besides the Neopets RPs). I just feel weird about using someone else's characters. I worry that I'd do them wrong.

I used to go to a website RPG for dbz and the webmaster had his own dbzish fanfiction on it. It was very well written and I loved reading it but I don't think he ever finished it.

I've tried to write some. Turned out bad. But now I don't really like them. They pair people up that just shouldnt be, for one. And Zelda fanfiction used to tear at me so bad. It still does, really. They make Link seem really stupid. How can anyone really assume that? He doesn't even talk. If he was stupid in the game I wouldnt care.

EDIT: Wow, that sounded rude.. sorry. I fixed it up a little.
