Across The Universe

I absolutely loved it. The only part I didn't like was when they went into the tent. I love the Beatles, but I was a little disappointed they didn't use, "When I'm 64", though they did reference to it. I'm seeing it again on Friday.
How about you guys?

Haha, I kind of hate that song.

Yeah, there wasn't much of a plot and it was kind of long. The puns got annoying too. The musical numbers were pretty amazing though. I didn't care for the "For The Benefit of Mr. Kite" part either.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but from the previews it looks like a Vietnam War protest movie that came 40 years too late.

OMG, after waiting and listening to the soundtrack for like 200 years, I am finally seeing it on Saturday.

I CAN NOT WAITTT.

Damn.
That actually had nothing to do with anything.
Don't judge before you've seen.

It would have been an amazing move if they cut out everything from the bus to the end of the tent scene. I liked the end. Jude (Jim Sturgess) is beautiful.

This looks really, really bad.

I've seen previews for it since a few months ago, and I instantly hated it.

If it's on television, I'll watch a bit of it but I doubt I'll even watch it then.

Really, Ammer? I like the trailer for the first half. Then suddenly it starts looking like the whole movie was made under the influence of mind-altering substances.

Well, I agree with you; when I first saw the trailer, I thought it was going to be interesting with the whole war and artsy plotline, but once it turned into a creepy musical, I was immediately turned off.
