Cloverfield Very good movie, certianly accomplished it's handycam perspective thing. However the constant shaking gave me an enormous headache.

Ditto Cloverfield, ditto very good movie, ditto video camera perspective, ditto headache.

Okay, it wasn't really a headache, more of a very slight wave of nausea, but still. The movie was awesome though. <3

Cloverfield!

There are not words or non-words in any language, real or fictitious, that can describe how awesome it was.

Aliens Versus Predator: Requiem.

(Spoilers may follow. but who cares, you know what happens right?)

He kicks smurf and takes names.
And blows lots of stuff up.
Loved it.
Then again, I'm not the kind of person who goes into a film called "Aliens Versus Predator" and expects the cheerleader girl to have any kind of character development besides "she's really in love with the nerdy kid. Oh look. Dead"

I was wondering how Eight Warriors and a Predalien were going to do any real damage.
Turns out the Predalien can Implant eggs too.
Oh my can he implant eggs. (It was a mildly creepy scene. Sufficed to say I have a pregnant friend)

I saw Cloverfield and thought it was interesting, but don't go trying to see a movie that make sense. And don't go expecting an ending that has all the pieces tied together and wraps up nicely. You won't get that. What you will get is more like "What the heck just happened?"

Which I think is the point. You aren't meant to have everything figured out.

I Am Legend. It was OK. A bit jumpy but the trailer lied!!!
He wasn't the last man on earth.

AmmerEdit: Kym you know better than to spoil a movie! I knew feeding you carrots wasn't a good idea...

Cloverfield: I thought it was a good movie; not "WOW" like everyone said. The camera shaking never cause nausea or anything but it got annoying. I usually found myself trying to adjust my viewing angle to see what the monster was.

Tsk tsk Kym, I wouldn't expect that from you... keep the carrots away from him! Lol.

Meet the Spartans
Let me just say first I really wasn't a fan of 300. So I went with some friends and it had to be one of the worst spoofs I've ever seen. The Brittney joke was funny, but I think the celeberty jokes got old. I would chuckle now and then but that's all.

You actually went to see that?

Shame, shame.

Pushaw. I was bored. But my friend did manage to throw a soda can "into" the trash can. Cept it hit the rim and exploded every where. He ran out yelling, "GET NAPKINS!"

No, from what I've heard, it does cause 80% of the female population in the audience to start crying.

I'd never see it though. I'm not a fan of those kind of movies.

I can't remember the last one I saw. It's in the back of my mind, but I just don't remember.

Oh, that's right - I finally got around to seeing Golden Compass. WAY TO CUT OFF THE END OF THE STORY.

I know, right? I am very upset with Chris Weitz's adaptation of the book. (He even backed out in the beginning because he felt he couldn't do an adequate job!) However, if they make a second one, they're commissioning someone else to write the script.
