We watched most of Tank Girl at a friend's party tonight. I have to say that it is possibly one of the most stupid movies ever. It sucked.

I watched The Mask of Zorro last night, for a reason I still don't understand.

Is it just me or do BBC play that film at least 3 times a year? I mean, it's not terrible, but overkill, no?

Madagascar, while I was curled up on the couch feeling sick.

Hilarious movie.

Saw The Island a couple of weeks ago.

Frankly, I don't understand why nobody is seeing it - the reviews for it were generally decent, and the movie itself was a decent ride. It's worth a rental, but maybe not worth owning, when it comes out on DVD.

*nods*, I agree on all counts.

And Ewan McGreggor is in it =P.

Hehe, I watched that too. It was quite good, actually, better than I thought it would be.

Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery on VH1

I though it was alright, even though we all know the The Spy who Shagged Me was the best, this one made me laugh most of the way through. Had a great plot for a comedy of it's proportion I though.

Freaky Friday (Lohan version). My friend Jen and I watched it "in memoriam" for the old, healthy Lohan. Oh why did she decided to become a blonde skeleton?

Thank you!!!
I don't understand WHY she wanted to get so grossly skinny.
She looked great before, now... her being that skinny just doesn't look right on her. Definetly has that bobble head thing going on.
And FYI not saying being that skinny is bad for everyone... I'm saying it looks bad and really unhealthy on her.
And her comments about eating right and exercising to lose all that weight is complete BS. Exercise and eating right wouldn't leave someone looking that bad.

Im amazed you can decipher the accents. I hear a lot of non-brits have had trouble with it.

Subtitles perchance? :P

I watched it without subtitles. The first time I saw it, it took me about 15 minutes to get used to the accents. I still can't understand some of the lines, though (like almost anything Robert Carlyle's said that's not profanity).

She looks terrible.

I usually avoid Hollywood gossip, etc. But I do remember constantly hearing comments about Lindsay that were derogatory before she got so thin. Comments like 'she's coming out of her clothes,' 'why can't she find clothing that fits,' etc. While those were mostly with regard to the fact that she has a blessed chest that wasn't quite fitting in the clothing she wore, she is a teenager, right? I know if anyone said something like that about me, even now, I would take it the wrong way and go to pieces.

But, I'm wandering off the topic of this thread, so I shall try to pull myself back. ^_-

I watched Christine last night. Well, sort of. It was on while I was RPing and playing Princess Maker 2. A pretty bad flick, although I thought the geeky lead (was his name Arty or Arnie?) was kinda cute, in that 1980s nerd sort of fashion. It's funny how in the '80s, they went with complete stereotypes of nerds (unattractive, speak through their noses, bad clothing choices, etc). Today, I swear all the 'nerds' in movies and television are drool-worthy. Then tend to have poor fashion sense, but other than that, mrrow! <3
