It's not that scary. a few scares, but not that intense.

I finally saw it and some scenes were really scary although predictable and others were just plain dumb.

There's alot of drowning scenes and it opens up with a suicide.. caught my attention there... Ohh... There's a hanging scene too.

I would have been more scared if it looked more real. The eyes looked completly computerized and the meowing is just plain weird. Its SOOOOO Quiet in the movie theater and the movie itself was too. The only sound effects were the meowing, boards creaking, and this annoying sound that represents the mom.

The sound was funny at first but then it got horrifying... its still stuck in my head and everytime I hear it I think... "She's watchin..."

And about gore, they do have bloody scenes here and there, and they cut off her bottom jaw.... ewww.... you just have to watch it to believe me.

Eek.

I haven't seen the movie, but I've seen the previews. and the trailer.

Both gave me nightmares.

I doubt I'll ever see the real thing. I'm terrifed of scary movies.
