I bought it, going against my rule never to buy or watch something that assosiates itself with Neopets.

Still worth 15 bucks. Me, my wife and my kids have seen it three times in less then 24 hours.

So....when does the 6th book come out?

There's a thread about it in The Library, as far as I know, it'll probably be sometime next year, probably in the summer.

I watched it last night. I was sort of disappointed in the special features. FIVE deleted scenes? FIVE!?!?! And the interviews with the cast were sort of annoying because of that talking head and his "jokes" which annoyed me so much. I didn't really like the games, seeing as I didn't really understand what to do in some of them. The actual movie was good; I saw it in theatres before. I say buy it if you love Harry Potter, rent it if you saw it and kind of liked it.

Where did you find the deleted scenes? I looked on both CDs and couldnt find them.

Second DVD > Divination > the first choice.

Hated it. Good scenes were weak; music was too un-Harry Potterish, barely stuck to the book, and transitions were terrible. Oh well. Better luck next time!

Yay! My mum got me POA for my birthday..

It's WAY better than I remember, especially the music.

But they really shoulda stuck more to the book and, y'know, mentioned who MWPP were.

Not to mention telling us that Sirius was actually innocent! >_>

Maybe you guys can help me out. A couple of weeks ago I picked up the first 2 movies, but I can not find the deleted scenes. I now i have seen them before, and the dvd case says there are on there but I can not find them. I am not sure if it is just my DVD player, it does not work well at the best of times.

I think in the first one you have to go through this whole stupid thing to get to them. You have to go to olivanders and get a wand then go to the classrooms. Then I think you click on the pilar or something and go through all the tasks Harry had to go through to get to the philosophers stone - its really annoying. Its on the second disc. For the second one I think it is also on the second disc you click on additional scenes - its just above the picture of Filch.

POA doesn't come out til the 1st of December here so Is till have to wait a couple of days

I'm sure if I'm going to get it or not. Meh, I loved the book and the movies just don't compare. But, I've found myself staring and staring at the HUGE cardboard cuteout of Harry Potter in the local supermarket.
I don't know...but Harry's kind of cute there.
Who knows? Maybe I'll nab a copy for Xmas.

oh man, by far the worst of the movies. although i suspect the next one will be even worse.

i love harry potter, but i think i'll leave this one on the shelf.
