You know, Katherine is doing a pretty good job at getting people's attention. Because before the top twelve, I didn't even remember who she was. She just didn't stand out.

lol, I think Chris and Katherine are the only two that really deserve to win. The others are good, but I do think Chris and Katherine are better (though Katherine's personality it nearly non-existant).
Edit: The night was okay, there were good and bad.
Chris
First song: Easily the best first song
Second song: Not so much, but not that bad
Katherine:
First song: Eh, it was okay. Didn't like it that much.
Second song: It was pretty good, the second songs were tricky to place though.
Paris:
First song: Hated the song and hated the performance. >_<
Second song: It was okay, but I didn't really care for it either.
Taylor:
First song: It was okay, just like every other performance he has. x_x
Second song: Better, but ti didn't blow me away.
Elliot:
First song: Hated it. >_< Dunno, I just didn't like it.

First Round - Birth Year Songs
Elliot - On Broadway (George Benson) - I had to rewind it like 5 times, he didn't capture me as he did last week. Dang. And I really liked him last week.
Audio - 5,Visual - 3
Paris - Kiss (Prince) - I liked her song choice, but it just seemed like she was holding back waaaaaaaay too much, where is our girl tonight so far Parisfans?!
Audio - 6.5, Visual - 6
Chris - Renegade (Styx) - Amazing performance! He did really good on his first song. I liked how he sang it. (Bangel, he's growing on me! I smell the Vonzell effect near

Katherine - Against All Odds (Phil Collins) - Can I just say, I rewinded that waldrobe malfunction like 50 times?

Taylor - Play That Funky Music (Wild Cherry) - I cannot believe I'm saying this.... He did really good. This kind of music is his forte.

Elliot - Home (Michael Bublé) - He's leaving tomorrow. I'm sorry, but he is. I love him though. And he did really good with the Michael Buble song. He sang really really. And as his song said, he's going home. Sorry Yaminians. I'm one too, but :'(. Does he remind any of you of Droopy?

Paris - Be Without You (Mary J. Blige) - She did amazing! But what I think people are going to think is... She was kinda off in the beginning... And in the middle... And the end.... Bottom 2... :'(. But she did really good! Really good! I liked it.

Chris - I Dare You (Shinedown) - Smurf it. Bangel. I hate you for making me like him. And yes I blame you. Loved it! But he has to watch that voice of his. Sing from the daiphragm deary. xD I think it's fatigue though.

Katharine - Black Horse and The Cherry Tree (KT Tunstall) - Is there any question why I like her now? No? Good. She rocked that song. I love her!!!! Her voice can do anything. She gave KT a run for her money.

Taylor - Something (The Beatles) - I would've liked it if he would have done something like Temperature, that would've pwned! xD But it was boring. That'll hopefully put him in the bottom 3. I disagree with the judges.

My Reviews
*All reviews written before hearing the judges. I took notes during the performances. *geek*
Round One
Elliott- Wasn't feeling it. Ending was nice, but most everything up until that didn't do much for me. His voice shook and didn't have that smooth sound we usually get from Elliott. Not Pickler, but nothing special.
Paris- I think she knows she's the popular choice to boot this week, so I think she's either trying to drastically change her style to appeal to new voters or just go out having fun. Vocally, it sounded alright to me, but I don't think you can win on a Prince song.
Chris- I love how he doesn't just take the mic with him, but instead takes the whole stand, hehe. I really loved this performance, and that's only a little bit biased by how much I love Chris. Definitely my style of music, and he pulled it off great!
Katharine- In the very beginning, I won't deny I got chills. However, after the very beginning... not great. She was off in a great many places. Vocal was nothing better than alright, and she fell apart several times.
Taylor- Before even hearing him sing, I thought this would be the perfect song choice for Taylor. He was very interesting and entertaining to watch, but vocally it wasn't there for me. Nice to get the classic Taylor this week, but vocally it was not up to par with someone in the top five of a nationwide talent search.
Round Two
Elliott- I don't think either of his performances were up to vocal par compared to previous performances by him. It was better than the first one, but still- not great. Not wowing. Not a winning performance. It was fairly boring for me. I was laughing at his stage running thing, though.
Paris- I think Paris should pack her bags. I thought it was boring for a good part of it and pitchy at some other parts, mostly towards the beginning. She made it a lot better towards the end, though. It was actually in all a good performance, but it's not the wowing one that would keep her in the competition for another week.
Chris- Leather jacket! That's hot. To be honest, he disappointed me here. His voice did start to give out around halfway through the song, and it was just to screamy for me. I understand the nature of the song, but he sang a rough song even rougher than it needed to be. It was still a good night for him, though, if he can make Simon sound optimistic.
Katharine- Very odd song choice and performance. However, I can't deny it was fairly sexy with the whole on the floor barefoot thing. She messed up in parts, but overall I really liked this performance, and it was better than I expected for this particular song (which isn't great on showing vocal ability, in my honest opinion). My second favorite of the night, after Chris' first round performance.
Taylor- Didn't see it, was busy voting for Chris after the lines unofficially opened.

Eh, I think it unlikely that Paris won't be going tomorrow night. Elliot will be soon after, I think, but Paris did bad enough tonight and she's been near the bottom for so long at unless her fans start swarming, I doubt she'll make it another round.

Taylor is my hero. Seriously, I just love him. I love him for the same reason I worship Paku-sama: He's DIFFERENT. He has an awesome personality, and no matter what song he's doing he always seems to get the emotions just right. Nothing would make me happier than to see him win.
...Although I'm going to accept that that's NOT going to happen and hope that Katherine wins.

i have ot say, while chris has a fine voice, he doesn't really have the stage presence that a "rocker" is supposed to have.
i mean, he just grabbed the mic stand, walked behind the judges, sang for a little bit, then walked back to the stage...kinda boring.

Actually watching it again Paris did a horrible job.
Chris was screaming at the end of the second song. I dislike him and his voice.
Katherine did a good job but I still don't like her dull personality
I don't like Elliot so hopefully he or Chris will be eliminated tonight.
I still love Taylor though!!

He did bad at the beginning of ONE song this entire time and all of a sudden..
Like OMG he's just terrible!!
Gimme a break... every single one of the contestants have had numerous bad nights.
Katharine and that first song. Last weeks song, Queen night.
Chris.. His 2nd song, Queen night (I liked it but alot of people didn't)
Taylor... his first song, last week, week before that.. and another time he wasn't so great.
But Elliott does bad ONE time... and OH no... Boy needs to go!!

Same with Elliot. I don't like his singing. And atleast Paris had presence. Something Elliot didn't have a pinch of.
