Taylor's going to win. It's so obvious right now... come on, Taylor has never been in the bottom three, and Kat has twice.

Clay Aiken was never in the bottom but he lost. :O

By the way how was it rigged if Elliott had stayed?

Taylor doesn't have the vocal strength IMO to carry on as a star. I also don't like how he moves on stage. I'm just not a fan of him. I find him creepy and annoying. And I hope that he loses. The real winner should have been Chris. But oh well.

I think Taylor will win, but I don't think he deserves it. And I think he'll be a flop. And I hope he'll be a flop.

I agree, I think he's too gimmicky. After AI is over, he may have his hardcore fans who will still be interested, like Clay does, but I seriously doubt he could go mainstream, especially like Kelly has done.

Hmm... I think there's the possiblity of him going further with his band, but as far as going solo (which I doubt he'd do anyway), there's no way in heck.

Correct me if I'm wrong, wasn't Clay like, booted from the competition and than came back as a wild card? If so, that's like being in the bottom three.

OMG! Ammer! That's totally right! I completely forgot about that!! Wow.... Well who knows. All I know is I'm a McPhan!

I kind of knew Elliot would be going. He is very bland.
I'm 99% sure Taylor will win now. His fanbase is HUGE.
Someone told me today that if Katharine wins it's mostly because she's pretty to look at and I agree. I mean honestly if someone who wasn't an avid watcher of AI had to vote they are going to vote for the pretty girl not the gray-haired guy. :P

Katherine deserves to win just as much, (if not more) than Taylor. And yes, Katherine is pretty. So was Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson.

One bad thing about her is that she isn't consistant, though. She has a LOT of good nights:

Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Black Horse Under the Cherry Tree, Think, Bringing Out the Elvis, Come Rain or Come Shine... etc.

And she's had some really bad ones:

Hound Dog, Can't Help Falling in Love...

I think, if she doesn't screw the finale up, she will have a good chance of winning.

Since I Fell for You...

That song was the oen that did it for me, because at first I was like... Okay she's alright, but that, after that it was like WOAH!!

Eh, anyone who is voting for music (what the competition is about) over performance would vote for Katherine. Personally, I think the only reason Taylor's fanbase is so large is because he was such a strange performer to watch. Gray hair, looks a lot older than he is, had convulsions on-stage, and is something strange to behold on the American Idol stage. I think he get his votes votes by looks than Katherine does, actually.

They're refering to the main competition. The semis don't really count

I was disappointed that Elliott was booted but I wasn't really surprised. I think it'll be better for him in the long run

If it is riggid, then the producers will make Katharine win, because they know Taylor will flop.

I only saw like 3 episodes this season but from what I saw I wanted Chris to win, but he's already off so I don't care anything about this year.

Sun May 21, 2006 4:59 pm

Heh, did you see them make fun of Taylor on SNL?
