Omgsh, there was something after the credits. I hate when I always miss something. Then I feel like I missed the whole movie.

Your fault for ignoring the names of all the people that put the work into the movie :P

Seriously they should at least tell someone if there's gonna be anything after the credits - I was gonna stay behind but everyone had gone out, still was only halfway through the credits and the guy was looking at me funny so I left assuming that there was nothing in the UK version...

Yep. That lady in that scene is Moira McTaggert, the woman who was in the video earlier when the Professor was talking about putting someone's conciousness into the body of a braindead person. So we can assume that Charles put his conciousness into the braindead person's body.

Personally, I felt let down by this movie. Rogue and Cyclops were hardly in it, there was no development on the part of most of the new additions and Phoenix didn't do much. I was hoping Colossus would have a good role, but he didn't! They just had him stand and fight ocasionally. And Arclight, Psylocke and Quill should have been expanded on more, because they just rocked.

I don't think that the acting was bad, I actually found the acting to be of a hugh standard by in general (especially by Ian McKellen, but that's always to be expected from him), it was just the script that let it down. The plot was good, but the way it was written was not. And Iceman icing up had a fantastic build-up, but I didn't like the actual iced-up look. It should have been more frosty, so you could actually SEE Shawn Ashmore.

Oh, and even in the highly unlikely event of there not being an X4 movie, at least we will be satiated in our cravings for X-Men. There's the Wolverine spinoff with Hugh Jackman (<3), the Magneto's in the scripting stage and they're romancing the ideas of having a film based around Emma Frost.

For the X4 Movie, they should have:
Gambit - Josh Holloway (The man is made for the role!)
Forge - Jimmy Smits
Polaris - Rachal McAdams
Apocalypse
Quicksilver
Bishop
Archangel (Because the Angel character's too weedy right now. He needs metal wings)
Jubilee/Dazzler (Having both would make for a great rivalry)

Set - Sunnie
Blinkie - Chass

To make things work they could continue their disregard of comics and have Apocalypse have Jean and Scott ressurected as two of his horsemen.

Christopher, thank goodness I wasn't the only one who was majorly let down.

Things that annoyed me other than the ones previously listed:

- What's with Magneto doing dumb stereotypical villain things that don't make sense what-so-ever (which didn't happen in the previous films)? I mean... if you can move an entire bridge, then why even bother having the fight that happened at the end of the movie? Just drop the bridge on them!
- Needles are made of metal. 'Nuff said.
- Storm still sucks. Ugh.
- Phoenix was the lamest thing ever. She didn't even have an objective. She just stood there with a lame stare. She wasn't scary at all.
- Wolverine's skin was flying off but his pants were fine?
- She could've easily killed him. Lame scene!
- I love now no one cared that Cyclops was missing until after Jean started acting scary.
- Juggernaut is not technically a mutant, so Leech shouldn't really have an effect on him.

That's all I can think of for now.

Thank you!!

I am a MAJOR X-Men fan and I was very upset at this film, it was complete rubbish!

Well, not all rubbish, Ratner had the action scenes planned out perfectly however there was no scenes in between these "action packed scenes" to make them all make sense -- it was literally one after the other.

As for the movie itself, here were my problems,

SPOILER BELOW

Angel, had no story whatsoever; at least with Rogue in X-Men 1, she had the story in the beginning and it carried throughout the movie. Angel was just then and now, like, nothing ever happened in between.

Wolverine was a bit annoying, I mean, seriously. "Jean, don't do it" "Jean, I love you" -- I mean please, shutup, she's with Scott!

And about Scott, why didn't anyone care when he died? And as you, Spira said, they only started to care after Jean went all demon-y.

And speaking of Jean, she really didn't do anything besides turning people into matter.

Ratner really messed up this franchise; hopefully Brian will be able to look at this and be like "That's it, we're re-calling this film, time to make it right,".

I can dream, can't I?

I'm expecting Xavier, Scott and Jean to be found in the same lake next movie - I'll bet my house on it!

It does sound that way but I suppose Spira and I were let down because we had such high expectations for this film.

But in all fairness, I'm sure this film would've been to my liking if the original director had just stayed and not bailed to film another superhero movie.

Yeah, but he's always been like that. He was like that in the comic and...*wistful sigh* the original cartoons.

True.
But then again most of his healing power used to be taken up with stopping the Adamantium from killing him.
Okay, I hate Wolverine, but really, his healing abilitys getting out of hand.

Maybe he's getting used to the Adamantium and it's taking less power to deal with it - and maybe his love for Jean enabled him to go to new limits?

I don't think I'm that hard to please. I really enjoyed the second movie.

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

Hence why I hated him in the cartoons as well, annoying.
