Spice Girls

• Spice Girls were the first major British pop music phenomenon of the mid-'90s to not have a debt to independent pop/rock. The Spice Girls enjoyed substantial commercial success from 1996 to 2000, and it is claimed that they are the biggest-selling girl group of all time, with reported sales of over forty-five million albums and thirty million singles.
• Members of the group have stated that they do not see any future for the Spice Girls, but the group has never formally split up. Each member has released solo albums (with varying degrees of commercial success, but not nearly in the same class as their group efforts). Each of the girls' solo popularity has waned over the past four years.
• Their singles include "Wannabe", "Spice Up Your Life", and "2 Become 1".

Kanye West

• After attending a local art school and then Chicago State University, West dropped out and began working on his music career. Even while attending school, West produced for local acts. He gained some fame by producing hit singles for major Hip-Hop/R&B artists, including Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, and Ludacris. West himself worked on his solo album for a long period of time, having the release pushed back on multiple occasions.
• Kanye has gained some attention for his political views. During a concert for Hurricane Katrina relief, Kanye said, ""George Bush doesn't care about Black people."
• On August 30th, 2005, Kanye West released his second album Late Registration. The album went on to sell over 904,000 copies in its first week. West announced that his 3rd and 4th albums will be titled Graduation and A Good smurf Job, respectively.
• His singles include "Jesus Walks", "Gold Digger" and "Diamonds from Sierra Leone".

I pick spice girls as well.

I've never even heard of Kayne West (go me) and when I look at his website it doesn't appeal to me at all. So the songs probably won't either XD.

Spice Girls! I always loved them. I was a HUGE fan when I first heard of them, and I still listen to their music. I thought 'Spice World' was the best movie ever.

It really evens out if you think about it.

Kayne West isn't a racist, he believes everyone is racist to him.

I choose Spice Girls because I like more songs of their's than Kanye's and I just can't stand Kayne West's personality.

Kanye because his comment about Bush made me laugh. He's off his rocker. And I have no idea how the Spice Girls beat anyone in this contest. They can't sing.
