I was encouraged to read a lot more, after reading the Alex Rider stories, and Stormbreaker was a book that I'll remember, but I don't think this film has captured the tone of the book. I've got mixed emotions on the film - if I hadn't read the book I'd probably like the film, but on the otherhand, the adverts made it look all cheesy and Hollywood... guess I'll have to watch the film to see how it is

Also the book starts off with Ian Rider already dead - I think they tried to fit Ewan McGregor (Who plays Ian Rider) in a few too many times.
