I don't know how that's possible, I always thought Linkin Park was more popular and accepted than Evanescence is. I mean, Linkin Park has more hit albums and more hit singles with hit videos. And more coverage.

Its probably because they haven't had any new stuff in about 4 years so some people who were fans just forget about them.

I've never really seen them be that BIG with the mtv crowd, though. *shrugs* And yeah, I agree with what Lost said, they have been kind of hermiting it up somewhere for a bit with all the troubles they've been having to deal with.

And does anyone see a resemblance between the new video and Rise Against's videos?

I totally misread that last bit.

Anyway, who cares what the MTV crowd think, they put bob the builder and Crazy frog in first place, they have no taste.

I'm torn about what to do on the Saturday of Download festival
Linkin Park and Motley Crue are on at the same time grr
I've already seen Linkin Park twice and they have been really good both times.
I'd like to see them again but I'll be dissapointed if they've gone pants.
I'll probably watch Motley Crue because I know they'll be good

After listening to a couple of their new songs, I really don't like their new album. It's sad to say but I think "What I've Done" is the best they have to offer at this point.

I guess It's gonna be me to diasagree wiht 99.9% of you. :P

I for one really like there new album, yeah I prefered their older, edgier stuff, but this album is really good too.

My favourite song so far beig What I've done. :P

I do agree with Ammer though. It's not anything special, and it has no "oomph", or THAT much originality, but I for one, still think its a pretty decent album.

Okay.
After listening to the new album several times, it is beginning to grow on me. At first, I really didn't like it just because it didn't sound like them. There was no amazing mixes in the back, rarely any Mike Shinoda, and even Chester's screaming is incoherent compared to what they usually do.

I like 'Bleed it Out' and a few of the heavier ones, but sometimes the softer ones you have to crank all the way up to hear it. If they are being paid $15 million in advance for this, I'd hope it would be a little better.

I'd give it a 3 out of 5, though.

I think I like the singles I've heard so far, but I haven't heard the whole album yet. I debated between Linkin Park and The Used, and I went with The Used's new album. Which is better than I thought after I didn't really like their 2nd one.

I love the album. Even though it doesn't sound a lot like their old stuff it shows that they can mature as musicians and learn new styles. I think every song on there is great, but we are missing our usual Mr. Hahn track.
