Now, i don't wanna sound like a wuss, but..When I heard this song, it got me. And, I wanna know, has a saying, poem, song, or anything, ever reached out, and grabbed her heart and mind? Like, it's saying, "That's me." Or something..? Here's the song..Only just heard it.. Really got me..Cuz, that's how I feel, like, all the time..
Do you ever feel like breaking down?
Do you ever feel out of place?
Like somehow you just don't belong
And no one understands you
Do you ever wanna run away?
Do you lock yourself in your room?
With the radio on turned up so loud
That no one hears you screaming
No you don't know what it's like
When nothing feels alright
You don't know what it's like to be like me
To be hurt
To feel lost
To be left out in the dark
To be kicked
When you're down
To feel like you've been pushed around
To be on the edge of breaking down
When no one's there to save you
No you don't know what it's like
Welcome to my life
Do you wanna be somebody else?
Are you sick of feeling so left out?
Are you desperate to find something more
Before your life is over
Are you stuck inside a world you hate?
Are you sick of everyone around?
With the big fake smiles and stupid lies
While deep inside you're bleeding
No you don't know what it's like
When nothing feels alright
You don't know what it's like to be like me
To be hurt
To feel lost
To be left out in the dark
To be kicked
When you're down
To feel like you've been pushed around
To be on the edge of breaking down
When no one's there to save you
No you don't know what it's like
Welcome to my life
No one ever lies straight to your face
And no one ever stabbed you in the back
You might think I'm happy
But I'm not gonna be ok
Everybody always gave you what you wanted
You never had to work it was always there
You don't know what it's like
What it's like
To be hurt
To feel lost
To be left out in the dark
To be kicked
When you're down
To feel like you've been pushed around
To be on the edge of breaking down
When no one's there to save you
No you don't know what it's like
To be hurt
To feel lost
To be left out in the dark
To be kicked
When you're down
To feel like you've been pushed around
To be on the edge of breaking down
When no one's there to save you
No you don't know what it's like
Welcome to my life
Welcome to my life
Welcome to my life

Simple Plan, Welcome To My Life. It's a good song and I can relate, but it doesn't make me wanna cry

Doesn't really make me or cry or anything. Simple Plan in my opinion cannot sing a sad song to save their life, it sounds happy when you hear it at first. The lyrics are alright, nice rythmn. But than again, Simple Plan ruined the song by singing it.
A lot of songs touch me or relate to me. Some in a juvinielle spoiled way while others in an emotional way.

That song, makes me shudder.
In a bad way.

..Mnn...That song hit home....
Completely.. And I was already feeling crappy when I heard it.. --;
Maybe I'm too emotional..

Heh, same thing. It sounds like Pierre recorded it with a cold. O_o

Funny, I'm listening to it right now. One of my friends did their english report on it and I did mine on I'm Just a Kid but anyway. Its a good song, it does seem a little happy with sad lyrics though...

Oh, man confessional time, haha. Two songs make me sort of - well, not cry, but definetly sort of calm me down and make me think. One is 'Breakaway', but the reason behind that is quite long, so yeah. The other is 'Whiskey Lullaby', which is a country song, but it is probably the saddest song ever. Especially the music video for it . . . it just really hits home, especially since my parents just divorced last year. If you haven't heard it, then listen to it through an Mp3 or something. Or you can go to LAUNCH Radio (launch.yahoo.com) and search for the song to see the video.
Whew. Went off a bit there, my bad.

I like the lyrics, but heh, it could be sung better perhaps?
Doesn't help that I don't like Simple Plan.

Makes me want to hurl, complain about your life in a song, and not any fight in it just moping and complaining blaah. If you want a tear jerker listen to Hurt from Johnny Cash.

Same here. The lyrics are pretty good. But I just don't like that singer's voice. It makes my ears want to bleed. X.x It would be a much better song if it were slower and perhaps it was sung sadly instead chipper...maybe I'm being to harsh?
Eh, much rather pop in a CD.

Hmm, I'm afraid, I didn't really like the song >.< the lyrics are good, but I find that it kind of implies that just because that person's life is miserable, it means that no one understands. Whereas many people do, and the person is not the only one to suffer. Sure, I can relate, but heck, so can so many people. So when they say 'No you don't know what it's like' well, I don't think it's right.
Plus I'm afraid I don't like Simple Plan, heh.

I'm really dissapointed with Simple Plan. They had it going good with "I'm Just a Kid" as a one hit wonder. They should have left it at that.
You want to hear some meaningful lyrics? Try some Gwar or System of A Down.
The former being not so kid friendly.

I just don't like simple plan, too "new green day". All of their songs sound the same to me... AFI has really good lyrics, and so does My Chemical Romance. Flogging Molly has some pretty good ones as well.
