Does anyone know what happened to the Canadian singer Fefe Dobson? She just disappeared, and I liked her songs (Except for her first single). After her video for "Don't Go (Girls and Boys)" was released, she disappeared. Does anyone know where she went?

She went on my MP3 player.
I don't know. I guess not many people liked her (although I did
). She seemed to me as more of a Disney-ish singer (because she was so mellow o.o).

Its like people farming, they're just trying to cultivate the next big thing.
Give them a nice body, a quirky personality, a tendency for over-exposure and a someone to write the songs for them and you're good to go.
Talent... optional.

Exactly. I'm not always a big fan, but I do have infinite more respect for her than for the little clones. I think that the industry has tried to do a lot to her but she has resisted and does actually have something to offer.

Sometimes I wonder how it would feel to want to be more of a mature artist but be grouped away because more than 80% of your fandom is 12 years old.

Another thing that irks me is how people forget that mainstream rock(heavy pop(see: hard rock, via Ashlee's belief)) can be bred on a farm just as easily as them there Fefe.

Hey, if the music meant that much you'd screw the fanbase and do it anyway.

Yes but you'd probably only keep a record contract as long as you could keep the fanbase. Maybe she's down the local school/shopping center/etc?

Understatement.
Fefe Dobson does write her own songs and she actually does have talent. She was on Canadian Idol if I'm not mistaken.

I always assumed Fefe Dobson was working on a new record. I didn't mind her music, I found it alot better than most "pop" music anyway. Plus, she had really cool shoes in the video for that song that was on The Perfect Score

She blew up. XD.
No. What I heard was she was touring with someone, or something. Maybe sleeping. For the winter. And some.
