Discuss music in any form from rock bands to Britney Spears' latest VMA performance. It's all good!

I love her songs. I have her Album Gwen Stefani Love, Angel, Music, Baby and I really like it. I think she should leave Nodoubt because I like her better when she is not in a band. I think if she made more songs with Eve they will do good for example the song called Rich Girl that did good. Im not sure why she has Harajuku girls in her videos.

I seem to remember a Rich Girls song back last summer. With a Jamaican woman singing "Then I'd have all the diamonds in the world/if I was a wealthy girl"
I think that Gwen should stay in No Doubt (which she is). I love their music.

I think she was SO much better in No Doubt. She's catchy now, but I like No Doubt's music ten times more.

I like No Doubt a little, but I don't really like her alone.

I'm pretty much the same. I could listen to No Doubt, but by herself she's lost all appeal.

I like her both solo and in No Doubt, but like most of you, far better in No Doubt. Her solo album sounds pretty cool though, although a few songs are kinda pulling it.
I'm just curious right now why Launch- I mean Yahoo! Music (ugh >_>)- decided to pull her videos off their site, other than the live performances at their studio. Same goes for a couple of other artists.

Why did they change it? It was fine before!
I've noticed alot of stuff was missing, too...
And for something that's actually on topic, I love No Doubt's song "It's My Life"!

The good ol' "I Can do so much better on my own, I'm out. (until it's time for me to come back with another greatest hits)!" Stefani definately jumped ship with Love, Angel, Music, Baby. But it may not be such a bad thing. Rather than just mimicking the sound of No Doubt, she did go with the flow and find a new music to unleash. "OK..so why fix what's not broken, you ask?" Simple. I think she avoided what No Doubt made(the punkie pop music) and got a refreshing bite from a different kind of apple.
Don't get me wrong, I like No Doubt, Tragic Kingdom was just one of those albums of the 90s. The kind you could listen to even if it was four or five years old, just cause their music was so hearable. The only problem I can see shaking the band now, would be when Stefani comes back, and tries to intergrate a sound that doesn't work with the band into their music.
Though, it's good to note, No Doubt has been through a lot together. Even when the press was only focused on Gwen, they spoofed it with the video for Don't Speak.
I gotta admit though, I don't think I'd tolerate any other California punk pop the same way I've tolerated No Doubt. Ever.

When I was younger, Tragic Kingdom was my favorite CD to listen to. I still like, it's the only No Doubt CD I can actually listen to without skipping tracks. But Gwen leaving? Eh...I like the new song that goes "Tick tock tick tock". It's catchy, but I'm not going to buy the CD.
Nah, I think she should stick with the band. Maybe if she wants to try out her solo career a little bit younger, she could. But I just hope she decides to turn back to No Doubt.

I like the song 'What You Waiting For' but that's it. I love No Doubt's album 'Tragic Kingdom' though.
I haven't liked the music No Doubt have done fairly recently, though 'It's My Life' is great.

They didn't split though. On Oprah, she said that one of her dreams was to make a pop album, and when she's done, she'll go back to No Doubt.

I don't really like G.S. :/ I admit "What You Waiting For" is catchy though. >_<

I love Gwen. She is like...my hero...but I like her a LOT better with No Doubt. She is ok on her own I guess, but 10 times better with the band.
And yes tragic Kingdom is an awesome album...I was jsut listening to Spiderwebs yesterday too

I like Gwen Stefani in both solo and No Doubt. I don't think she should quit No Doubt (Even though she said she isn't) but I want her to keep making solo albums as well. "LAMB" is a good album and I really hope to see a follow up.
This reminds me of Destiny's Child. Even though the whole group went solo, they still came back together.

Both No Doubt and Gwen are pretty cool. I think I like No Doubt's songs better, but Gwen's solo songs keep getting stuck in my head.
