Really, the only guy that I respect and actually enjoy is k-os.
Other than that, Rap is just another genre whose originlity is being sucked dry. Nothing but studios exploiting the exact same kind of acts over and over until the public gets sick and tired of it. Some rapper recently said that rap is now in its "Hair Rock" phase and I couldn't agree more. Studios are selling an image, not talent. Either its time for someone with a new vision to come onto the scene or chances are the rap scene is only going to truly exist with any artistic integrity at the grass roots level.
