Backstreet Boys

Sorry, couldn't resist the cheesy title. Anywho my sister (Who is a huge Backstreet Boy Fan) went on their site yesterday just for fun and it said the Backstreet Boys are coming back.

BSB fans get ready! There is a brand new album in the works that will be ready to hit shelves later this year.
Though the musical direction has shifted with the times, you can definitely expect to hear a classic BSB album with great vocals and great choruses! Brian, Kevin, Nick, Howie and AJ have been hard at work in the studio for the past several months. The album will include a new track from hitmaker Max Martin and the first single will likely hit the airwaves later this summer!

I definately think they won't do as well as they did before. I was only a fan when I was small but now I don't like them because they've gotten a tad annoying. Most likely they'll be pop/rock/r&b as most groups are now.

I thought we had almost done away with boy bands. *grumble* I hope this album flops so horribly that they duck out of the public eye forever.

Ahh.. boy bands.. the good ole times.

I can't say I am completely disgusted by their upcoming album, I want to hear how their new songs sounds like, plus, now I dont have to worry about my dad's birthday gift. (he's a *Nysnc and BSB fan)

Yay! Yayyayyayyay!!! Hopefully this means *N sync is coming back too! *hugs boy bands* *N sync said at CFTC a few weeks ago to expect a new album in a year or so.

You can all stop staring now. Move along...

I'm also predicted this to be a large flop. Anyone remember Nick Carter's solo career? No? See what I mean?

Heehee I sure do! I went to 3 of his concerts... just listened to the CD today actually.

backstreet? I'll pass. The n'sync album is the only one i might even give a listen. Never really got into the backstreet

I heard about that a while ago, but never heard anymore hype in the media about it, so I thought they cancelled it or something.. hmm

They performed at a concert I went to in May as surprise guests. They had an interview and said they'd been working on an album. I also expect this to fail. The boy band era is over.
